As the most common leg movement in taekwondo,the horizontal kick is still used frequently and scoring in taekwondo competitions with changing rules,and it makes opponents defenseless with its advantages of simple movements,fast strike speed,strong deterrence and high concealment.A standard horizontal kick requires the athlete to give full play to the flexion and extension,speed and position coordination of the lower limb in the movement of swinging legs and supporting legs,and quickly amplify the force and speed generated to the swinging leg instep.If you want to improve the effective score of the horizontal kick in the game,it is especially important to fully understand the structure of the horizontal kick.However,by analyzing the literature related to the previous taekwondo horizontal kicks,we found that most of the researchers paid attention to the research of physiology,biochemistry,strategy and tactics,and the literature using kinematics to analyze the horizontal kicks of female taekwondo athletes was relatively small and most of them had long intervals,which could not provide a reference value for the improvement of horizontal kicks with the times.This paper mainly adopts the research methods of literature method,expert interview method,experimental method and mathematical statistical method,takes the kinematic characteristics of the horizontal kick of taekwondo athletes as the research object,takes six outstanding female taekwondo athletes of Beijing Taekwondo Team as the test object,synchronously collects the original image of the athlete’s horizontal kick through the infrared light spot motion capture system(Qualisys),and successfully collects the same movement three times to obtain kinematic parameters.The original image obtained is analyzed and processed by motion system analysis software,so as to obtain the kinematic parameters of athletes,and calculate and analyze the correlation of the obtained data,so as to explore the structural characteristics and internal laws of taekwondo horizontal kicks,establish the horizontal kick action system of outstanding female taekwondo athletes,establish the correct concept of horizontal kick movements for athletes and public taekwondo enthusiasts,and provide scientific basis for improving the level and teaching of taekwondo competition.Conclusions:1.In the process of horizontal kicking in this paper,the average time of the whole movement of the six athletes was 0.50±0.030 s,and the difference between the maximum and minimum action time was 0.075 s,among which the knee-hip transition stage took the longest time and the kicking stage took the shortest time.2.In the analysis of the displacement distance of the center of gravity of the horizontal kicking action,the athlete has the largest displacement distance of the center of gravity in the X-axis,the smallest moving distance of the Z-axis,and the large displacement distance of the X-axis is conducive to better attack,and the small displacement distance of the Z-axis indicates that the athlete’s body floats up and down less and has high stability;The displacement of the four joint points of the swinging leg is arranged as follows: ankle>toe>knee > hip.3.From the three joint angle changes of the swinging leg,it can be seen that the peak joint angle of the knee and ankle joints both occurs at the moment of T3 of the knee lift and hip,but the trend of the two is opposite,and the turning point of the hip joint occurs at the T2 moment of the late start.The angle of the joints supporting the three joints of the leg changes relatively smoothly,and the hip joint tends to be opposite to the knee and ankle joints.4.The speed of the three joint points of the swinging leg,knee,ankle and toe reaches a maximum in the kicking stage,the hip joint reaches a maximum in the start-up phase,and the speed of the toe is the largest among the four joint points.5.The correlation between knee angle and kick speed in the kicking stage and the correlation between ankle angle and kicking speed at the T4 moment of the kicking stage showed that there was a significant negative correlation between the two.
