Nowadays, with the diversified development of society, the education system is also being reformed constantly. As the two most important parts of the education system, family and school jointly play the role of cultivating high-quality talents.Among them, parents are the guide, cooperators and supervisors of children’s learning,as well as the supporters of children’s healthy growth, while teachers are responsible for moral education guidance and knowledge teaching of students. It is essential for primary school students to develop and for schools and families to form educational joint forces. In the recent years, the implementation of "double minus" policy has brought great influence on the teaching work of our primary and middle schools.Under the influence of the "double reduction" background, the cooperation between primary schools and home schools is facing a more difficult test. Therefore, many schools are actively promoting the new model of home-school cooperative education. There is an urgent primary school home-school cooperation model has little effect. Therefore,it is an important research task of this paper to explore an effective home-school cooperation model under the background of "double reduction",discover the existing problems and propose solutions. It is beneficial to better promote the healthy development of students, and better promote the development and quality of school-home cooperation in primary schools at present. In view of the above problems, through the analysis of domestic and foreign relevant research literature, literature method, questionnaire survey and the causes of these problems are summarized. Finally, corresponding suggestions are given from the aspects of school and family,so as to further promote the smooth development of home-school cooperation of primary school students. This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction, which mainly includes the reason for the topic selection, the purpose and significance of the results in Chapter 2,combined with the investigation situation and results, the paper summarizes and analyzes the problems in the current home-school cooperation in primary schools: weak awareness of home-school cooperation, lack of cooperation communication, single cooperation content, unoriginal cooperation forms, unsatisfactory results, etc.Corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward in view of the above problems. The causes of the above problems are analyzed from the aspects of family and school. The fourth part,in order to solve the above problems, combined with the background of the national "double reduction" policy, respectively at the level of family and school, put forward the countermeasures of building a new model of home-school cooperation. At the family level, there are the following countermeasures: first,we should pay attention to our own learning and improve our educational ability;Second,we should pay attention to family education and build harmonious parent-child relationship.Third,we should learn from each other and integrate home-school cooperation in various ways. The school should take the following measures: first, strengthen the home-school cooperation platform, create a home-school cooperation atmosphere, strengthen the training of teachers and parents, achieve full education, meet the different needs of parents, and enhance the
