Since entering the 21 st century,society’s requirements for talent training have gradually shifted from the transfer of knowledge and skills to the cultivation of the character and key competencies needed to adapt to society,with more emphasis on the development of people’s individual needs and characteristics.With the curriculum reform putting forward the goal of cultivating core literacy,shallow learning in the traditional education stage cannot meet the requirements of the new era,and deep learning has become an important way to implement core literacy and is the hallmark of classroom transformation.Deep learning advocates unit teaching,and at the same time,the curriculum standards emphasise that mathematics teaching should reflect the holistic and systematic nature of mathematics.The concept of deep learning provides a new theoretical guidance and practical basis for the study of unit teaching design in senior secondary mathematics.Therefore,this study applies deep learning theory to the senior secondary classroom and takes the senior secondary mathematics concept class as the main subject of study to carry out research on the unit teaching design of the senior secondary mathematics concept class from the perspective of deep learning.Firstly,the literature research method is used to define the core concepts of deep learning,mathematical concept lessons and unit teaching design,and to review the literature related to deep learning,mathematical concept teaching and unit teaching.Then,based on deep learning theory,contextual cognitive theory,constructivist theory,metacognitive theory and APOS theory,the connotations,characteristics and theoretical foundations of deep learning are generally clarified to provide support for the subsequent research.Secondly,through questionnaires,teacher interviews and classroom observations,we investigated the current situation of the teaching of the "Functions" unit in senior secondary mathematics.This study provides a clear picture of the current situation of students’ in-depth learning of mathematical concepts,summarises the current problems in teaching concept classes,and provides a basis for proposing strategies for teaching the unit in mathematics concept classes.Again,based on the findings of the survey and analysis,and based on the principles of subjectivity,wholeness and feedback,and guided by some scholars’ unit teaching design models,a unit teaching design model for senior secondary mathematics conceptual classes from a deep learning perspective is constructed: "identifying unit themes,unit element analysis,unit goal setting,unit activity design,assessment task design,reflection and revision",and corresponding unit teaching strategies are proposed.Finally,in order to further present a model of unit design,a conceptual lesson on the theme of functions is given as an example,and a case study of a lesson under the unit design is given to build a case study of a conceptual lesson on the theme of functions from a deep learning perspective.
