| As an indispensable part of the excellent traditional Chinese culture,folk music has a distinctive,characteristic and nationalistic cultural self-consciousness.In recent years,in the world,the inheritance of one’s own folk music culture has become a kind of development direction for music in all countries,and the integration of one’s own folk culture into the comprehensive training of talents has received widespread attention from the education sector in all countries.Since the 20 th century,Chinese school music education has been heavily influenced by Western music,while Chinese school music education has not systematically reflected the concept of Chinese folk music culture,which has resulted in Chinese students knowing little about folk music.Therefore,in China’s primary and secondary schools,folk music education should be vigorously developed and based on this,a view of music education with a cultural heritage should be established.The use of folk music as a special resource in music education in primary and secondary schools is of great practical significance in promoting the all-round development of morality,intellect,physique,aesthetics and labour,in strengthening secondary school students’ love and understanding of folk music,in enhancing their cultural confidence and cultural construction,and in carrying forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture and national spirit.This paper takes the teaching of folk music in primary and secondary schools as an entry point,and uses surveys,interviews and classroom observation records to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current situation of folk music teaching in primary and secondary schools in Jilin Province,and to summarise and analyse in some detail some of the problems that arise in folk music teaching,such as: the lack of effective communication and interaction between teachers and students,the low proportion of folk music in music teaching In addition,the teaching mode of ethnomusicology is single,the teachers’ ethnomusicological knowledge and skills need to be improved,and there are not enough resources for teaching ethnomusicology.Finally,the problems of ethnic music teaching in primary and secondary schools in Jilin Province are optimised in five ways: improving the communication and interaction between teachers and students,establishing the main position of ethnic music teaching,building a new ethnic music teaching model,establishing a professional ethnic music teaching team,and exploring the resources for ethnic music teaching,thus laying a solid theoretical foundation for the study of ethnic music teaching in primary and secondary schools.It also brings new ideas to the teaching work of ethnic music teachers in primary and secondary schools,so that ethnic music teaching can truly have a positive and beneficial impact on primary and secondary school students. |
