With the deepening and development of the new curriculum reform,cultivating students’ core literacy has become the primary task of current classroom teaching.The PDCA cycle combined with unit teaching design can effectively implement timely education and behavior assessment in the process of implementing teaching design,help teachers better grasp students’ learning situation,improve teaching methods,improve teaching quality,and provide an effective path for developing students’ core literacy.Therefore,in order to improve the quality of classroom teaching,this paper constructs the teaching design process of mathematics units based on PDCA cycle theory.This paper first studies the general process of unit teaching design,and finds that the current unit teaching lacks a highly targeted and operable unit teaching design process.Then,by reviewing the literature,we understand the advantages of integrating PDCA cycle theory into unit teaching,and explain the PDCA cycle and its connotation.Secondly,combined with the theory of system theory and the high-quality case database,twelve unit teaching elements such as "unit basic information","course standard analysis" and "textbook analysis" were determined,and they were used as PDCA cycle gears to conceive the teaching design of mathematics units,forming four stages of high school mathematics unit teaching design process based on PDCA cycle: "unit planning stage,unit implementation stage,unit evaluation stage,and unit improvement stage".Finally,based on the above process,this paper takes the unit of "Univariate quadratic functions,equations and inequalities" as an example to show the case of unit teaching design.The innovation of this paper lies in the integration of PDCA cycle into the teaching design process of mathematics units,emphasizing the importance of students’ learning behavior and feedback,and using them to effectively improve the efficiency and quality of students’ learning.At the same time,in the "unit implementation stage" integrates the PDCA cycle theory,constructs an integrated teaching mode of "teaching,learning and evaluation",realizes the refinement of classroom teaching objectives and the combination of evaluation and teaching,which can effectively promote the improvement of teachers’ unit teaching design ability,improve teaching quality and the development of students’ independent learning ability.The study shows that this process is effectively integrated with the teaching design of high school mathematics units,and compared with traditional unit teaching design,it can help teachers monitor all aspects of teaching practice and continuously optimize classroom teaching.
