With the development of the times, more and more women have entered the sports field dominated by men in the past, and have achieved excellent results, because the definition of traditional femininity in society and culture is often gentle and passive,so these women often suffer from criticism about gender temperament. However, with the development of society, the stereotypical gender temperament that opposes men and women has not met the needs of talents under market competition, and gender temperament has developed from single to diversified, which also urges us to reshape the concept of gender temperament and advocate a supportive and inclusive attitude towards diversified gender temperament. In the past,in the field of sports, more quantitative research was used to distinguish and study the gender temperament of men and women for the entire gender group, and rarely to conduct research and analysis on the gender temperament of a single group.Football is a highly confrontational and masculine sport, which is in great conflict with traditional femininity.Based on a ten-month fieldwork on the women’s football team of Minzu University of China, the author aims to break through the single, static presentation mode of existing quantitative research, highlight the expression and explanatory power of female athletes’ subjectivity, focus on confrontational projects with more prominent masculine characteristics, and "disenchant" the gender temperament of female college sportsmen under the qualitative research paradigm.Through the microscopic and detailed research on real individual stories, vividly and concretely present the real picture of the gender temperament of the group, uncover the generation process and presentation dimension of their gender temperament, and dismantle the traditional gender stereotypes hidden in the public consciousness, which will be more conducive to their own gender temperament and enrich the current empirical research on women’s gender temperament in sports in China.Based on feminist theory and gender theory, this study takes the generation and presentation of the gender temperament of the women’s football team members of Minzu University of China as the research object, and draws the following conclusions through the research methods of literature method, participation observation method and in-depth interview method:1.The generation of gender temperament of female football players in colleges and universities is inseparable from the shaping of family, school and social culture.Among them, the family specifically includes parents’ expectations of children’s gender roles and the expression and imitation of elders’ gender roles in the family; The school includes the discipline of long-term systematic education and interpersonal guidance of peer groups;Socio-culture includes the strengthening of the mass media and the shaping role of minority cultures.2.The gender temperament of college women’s football has different presentations, mainly reflected in the competition for words, the reshaping of the body and the expansion of personality. The presentation of gender temperament is not all exposed and single, but there will be different tendencies in different fields, such as in different gender groups and in different social role positioning.3.On this basis, think about the gender temperament from the perspective of sports, and advocate changing the single physical image of sports, dissolving the gender attributes of sports itself, and weakening the "gender polar axis" of sports participants. The correct view of gender temperament is to correct attitude and correct guidance, oppose binary and opposing ways of thinking, and advocate the establishment of a diversified chromatographic system.
