Abstract/Summary:
In addition to the syllabus or curriculum standards,the national authorities also set the examination syllabus.This has led to a situation where ’teaching is determined by exams’,which has intensified exam-based education and is not conducive to the development of core literacy skills.It is worth considering how to balance the teaching and learning of mathematics with academic quality standards to ensure that teachers meet their teaching standards and that students learn new knowledge based on core literacies in line with academic quality standards.It is also necessary to adopt an academic quality standards perspective in the design and implementation of teaching and learning.This study focuses on academic quality standards and conducts a study on the design and implementation of teaching and learning of exponential functions from the perspective of academic quality standards,with a view to obtaining findings on the design and implementation of teaching and learning of exponential functions from the perspective of academic quality standards and providing ideas for teaching and learning of high school mathematics from the perspective of academic quality standards.Based on this,this study takes a secondary school in Tongliao City,Inner Mongolia as the research school,takes the curriculum policy and local teaching model as the background,takes the current situation of students learning exponential functions in the school and the current situation of teachers teaching exponential functions in the city as the basis,innovates and implements the exponential function teaching design and research,and finally forms a reflection and summary of the research with the implementation results.The study uses literature,questionnaires and interviews to identify the problems in learning and teaching exponential functions from the perspective of academic quality standards in high school.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,280 senior high school students in Tongliao City were surveyed,and questionnaires were used to understand the implementation of students’ knowledge mastery and core literacy development in the learning process of exponential functions.20 teachers were also interviewed to understand the teachers’ understanding of core literacy,academic quality standards and what difficulties there are in teaching exponential functions.The results showed that: students’ learning of new knowledge of functions The results showed that students lacked confidence,interest and habits in learning new functions,and that they did not have a solid grasp of exponential functions and lacked mathematical skills related to exponential functions.Secondly,we analysed the teaching content of exponential functions,gave a corresponding teaching design and implemented it based on students’ current learning situation and teachers’ current teaching situation,and then tested the teaching effect.The results showed that the experimental class mastered exponential functions better than the control class,indicating that the teaching of exponential functions from the perspective of academic quality standards played an important role in helping students to master knowledge and improve their abilities.Reflecting on the teaching practice,it is concluded that teachers need to pay attention to the following four points in teaching mathematics:(1)different mathematical knowledge requires different academic quality standards,and teachers should closely follow the academic quality standards,focus on core competencies,and analyse the teaching materials thoroughly;(2)set reasonable objectives with competence orientation;(3)focus on competence enhancement and optimise teaching activities;(4)pay attention to the learning process of students and assess them in multiple ways;(5)strengthen the relationship between teachers and(5)strengthen cooperation and communication among teachers to achieve complementary advantages;(6)make reasonable use of resources and carry out personalised guidance.
