Exponential and logarithmic functions are the most basic and widely used functions in the high school mathematics curriculum.With the release of 《the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Senior High School(2017 Edition)》,the core literacy of mathematics become the primary focus of high school mathematics teaching.Based on the core literacy of mathematics,the author conducts research on the teaching status and strategies of exponential and logarithmic functions,and aims to provide strong suggestions for the development and cultivation of students’ abilities and literacy.This thesis uses a combination of content and literature analysis methods,classroom observation methods and questionnaire survey methods.On the one hand,by observing,investigating and analyzing the status of teaching,learning and examination of exponential and logarithmic functions based on the core literacy of mathematics,evaluating and researching students’ relevant mathematical ability and literacy level;on the other hand,combining relevant literature and materials,combining theory with practice,completing the recommendations and improvement of instructional strategies for exponential and logarithmic functions.The main conclusions of this thesis include:(1)High school students in Fujian have poor mastery of basic knowledge and the essence of concepts,solidified thinking,loose logic,weak application awareness and innovation awareness,etc.(2)In the teaching process,teachers in Fujian do not pay enough attention to the introduction of concepts and mathematical modeling activities.They need to pay more attention to students and cultivate their emotional attitudes and learning habits.(3)In the past 3 years,the difficulty of the examination of the exponential and logarithmic function test questions or part of the content of the National Mathematics Examination Paper Ⅰ has increased.At the same time,the college entrance examination has emphasized the "four basics" and focused on the measurement and evaluation of students’ mathematical literacy.Through analysis and summary,This thesis puts forward corresponding teaching strategies in a targeted manner.The key is that teachers must clarify the internal relationship between mathematics knowledge,mathematics ability and the core literacy of mathematics,help students lay a solid foundation,improve their ability,and develop corresponding the core literacy of mathematics step by step.In the teaching process of the exponential and logarithmic functions,we should pay attention to the coherence of students’ ideas and the systematicity of knowledge structure,cultivate "connected" thoughts,and help students not only to find the connection between knowledge points divergently,but also to focus on the concept and nature of knowledge points themselves.
