Survival education has emerged and developed abroad as early as the last century.Survival education has also made great progress in general education in my country.In recent years,survival education has received more and more attention in the field of special education.Due to hearing impairment,hearing-impaired students have limited access to external information,especially limited language communication skills,their living ability is relatively behind their peers,and they often encounter difficulties and setbacks in life and employment.It is difficult for them to adapt to the society and have poor survival ability,so it is of particular practical and social significance to implement survival education for hearing-impaired students.In order to understand the current situation of the survival education of hearing-impaired students in junior high schools,and to clarify the problems existing in the process of survival education of hearing-impaired students in junior high schools.In this study,a questionnaire research method was used to investigate in five special education schools with hearing-impaired students in Shandong Province,100hearing-impaired students,100 parents of hearing-impaired students in junior high schools,and 100 teachers who engaged in the education of hearing-impaired students in junior high schools.And conducted discussions with 8 hearing-impaired students of junior high school and 3 principals of special education school.The research results show that at this stage,special education schools pay more attention to the survival education of hearing-impaired students in junior high schools,but there are still the following problems: students lack the awareness of survival,and the mastery of survival skills is not comprehensive enough;there is a lack of full-time survival education teachers,and the teachers’ survival education professional ability is weak;the implementation of survival education in schools is not in place,and the effect of survival education is not good;the home-school cooperation is not strong enough,and the content of family survival education is not comprehensive;the utilization rate of social resources is low.Based on the analysis of the causes of these problems,the following countermeasures are put forward: improve the survival quality of hearing-impaired students;improve the school survival education system;build a synergy mechanism between home,school,and society,and rationally utilize and develop survival education resources.
