A Case Study On The Intervention Of Structured Family Therapy To Correct The Behavior Of Minors Involved In Crimes

The issue of juveniles involved in crimes has always been a hot issue of widespread concern in the society.It not only affects the healthy growth and family harmony of the minors involved,but also adversely affects social security and stability.The Party and the government attach great importance to the issue of assistance and education for minors involved in the case,take community corrections,professional education corrections and other methods to help the minors involved in the case correct their behavior,and continuously improve and perfect the legal system related to the protection of minors.In order to carry out juvenile delinquency relief and education work,local governments at all levels,communities,and schools actively take corrective measures for juvenile delinquency,strengthen the education and management of juveniles,and carry out publicity activities to prevent juvenile delinquency.Different academic circles have different correction methods for juvenile delinquency.Social work has unique advantages in intervening in the field of juvenile behavior correction.It uses a personalized approach to help minors involved in crime.Correcting deviations will help them better reintegrate into family,school and social life.This article takes a minor involved in the case in Nanning as the research object,and sorts out relevant domestic and foreign research through the literature method to understand the research status of the behavior correction of minors involved in the case.Families found that the clients had behavioral deviations,strained parent-child relationships,self-isolation,and no goals for the future.The survey found that the above-mentioned problems of the parties were mainly due to incomplete family structure,lack of companionship,parent-child relationship tension,parental anomie,and insufficient family education.Social workers provide services on a case-by-case basis,adopt structured family therapy interventions,conduct needs assessments on clients,and jointly formulate service goals and plans with clients and their families,ranging from improving family structure,rebuilding good family interactions,and changing clients’ behavior.Misunderstandings,correction of bad behaviors,and the development of career planning need to be started.With the help of family members,clients’ deviant behaviors can be truly and effectively corrected,making them better integrated into their families,schools and society,and their lives back on track.A case study of intervening juvenile delinquency correction through structured family therapy shows that: First,structured family therapy is suitable for intervening in juvenile delinquency correction.Through structured family therapy,social workers place personal problems in the family,improve the client’s family structure,promote the normal functioning of the client’s family,ease the family parent-child relationship,and help the client’s prejudice cognition with the help of the family.Changes are made,abnormal behaviors are corrected,and life is back on track.Second,social work can provide personalized services to correct minors’ criminal behavior.Social workers use the case method to intervene,pay attention to the principle of individualization,formulate service goals and plans according to the client’s needs,and use professional working methods and skills to provide timely and positive support to the client,and the service is recognized and cooperated by the client.Third,structured family therapy focuses on the impact of the family on the individual.A bad family system will affect the behavior deviation of the minors involved.Therefore,social workers should play the role of advocates,and should increase the publicity and promotion of the prevention of juvenile delinquency.The education work will increase people’s attention to the family education of minors,and provide reference opinions for solving the behavior correction services for minors involved in cases.Structured family therapy intervention has a certain effect on the correction of minors’ behavior,but how to maintain the continuity of service effects and reasonably arrange return visits is an urgent problem to be solved.
