Depression is a relatively common psychological state,mainly characterized by low mood,decreased thinking ability,slow language and behavior,etc.Prolonged depression may develop into depression.Depression exists at all ages.Research and practice have found that depression is developing at a younger age,and the phenomenon of depression in primary school students has received more and more attention.In this study,the method of stratified cluster sampling was adopted,and 805fifth-and sixth-grade students in three primary schools in Sichuan Province were given the "Parental Conflict Children’s Perception Scale","Security Scale" and "Depression Scale for Rehabilitation Center".The questionnaire was used to investigate the level of parental conflict,security and depression perceived by senior primary school students,and on this basis to explore the relationship among the three,as well as the mediating effect of security on the perception of parental conflict and depression.research shows:(1)The general depression of senior primary school students is not optimistic.29.07% of the subjects have depressive symptoms,and 15.90% may have depressive symptoms.The perceived parental conflict among the upper elementary students was moderate.The sense of security of the senior primary school students is generally above the middle level,14.66% of the subjects have a low level of security,57.52%of the subjects have a medium level of security,and 27.83% of the subjects have a high level of security.(2)There are significant gender differences in the total depression scores and subdimensions of depression among senior primary school students.The total scores and subdimensions of depression in girls are higher than those in boys;there are significant differences in the subdimensions of positive emotions in grades.Compared with the sixth grade,students in the fifth grade can experience positive emotions,and there is no significant difference in the total score of depression and other subdimensions;there is no significant difference in the total score of depression and its sub-dimensions in the place of residence and whether it is an only child.difference.(3)The total score of depression was significantly correlated with the total score of parental conflict perception and security.Depression was significantly positively correlated with parental conflict perception and negatively correlated with security.(4)Security plays a complete mediating role between parental conflict perception and depression in senior primary school students.Conclusion: The depression of senior primary school students is more serious,and security plays a complete mediating role between parental conflict perception and depression.
