| With the introduction of the term "Core Literacy",aesthetic education has become a new goal of curriculum reform and talent training.Based on this,China also emphasized in the "Compulsory Education Music Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)" that listening is the foundation of music and an important way to cultivate students’ core literacy,and good music hearing and appreciation ability is of great significance to students’ rich emotional experience,accumulation of music listening experience,feeling the beauty of music,and physical and mental health.Grades 1-2 belong to the lower primary school,and the auditory and perceptual abilities of students in this school age are relatively keen,which is a key period for the development of children’s musical ability,as well as an important period for the development of mind and personality.Therefore,the author focuses on the teaching of music appreciation for students in the lower primary schools.In recent years,the theory of "Audiation" created by Edwin Gordon,a famous American music educator,has gradually attracted the attention and research of many scholars in the field of music education.Starting from the perspective of "how students learn",he explores how to effectively improve students’ musical literacy and aesthetic ability.At present,the research results of this theory are rich,but the stage practice research is still a minority.Through literature research,questionnaire survey,classroom observation and other research methods,combined with the theory of "Audiation" and the author’s internship experience,this paper studies the practical application of this theory in the teaching of music appreciation in elementary schools,finds problems in practice,and summarizes and refines the optimization plan and teaching strategy.The author hopes that the new ideas of music teaching can be diverged through more practices,so as to provide reference value for Gordon’s theory of " Audiation" in the implementation of low level elementary appreciation teaching. |
