School martial art education is one of the important ways of spreading and inheriting martial arts culture.Not only has a great promote role on physical quality,cultural quality and spiritual character of young children,but also has a great significance to development of our country’s basic education,but there are still problems which need to be optimized and improved.On July 24,2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Compulsory Education and After-school Training(hereinafter referred to as "double Reduction").The promulgation and implementation of "double reduction" not only provides a new opportunity for the development of school martial arts,but also puts forward higher development requirements for it.Therefore,based on the policy background of "double reduction",this study investigates the current situation of primary school martial arts development in Suzhou,analyzes its existing problems and influencing factors,and puts forward the optimization path of high quality martial arts development in primary school of Suzhou,promotes the primary school martial arts in Suzhou to grasp the "tuyre" of martial arts development under the background of "double reduction",and promotes the deep development of primary school martial arts in Suzhou.It provides further theoretical reference for the problems existing in the implementation process of "double reduction".This study uses the method of literature,investigation,logical analysis and mathematical statistics to take the realistic difficulties and optimization strategies of martial arts development in primary schools in Suzhou under the background of "double reduction" as the research object,and takes 18 primary schools in the main urban area of Suzhou as the cases to investigate and study the scale of martial arts development,teaching activities,extracurricular activities,security conditions,cognition and other aspects.To understand the reality of Suzhou primary school martial arts development and in-depth analysis.The research conclusions are as follows:1.Under the background of "double reduction",the overall development effect of martial arts in primary schools in Suzhou needs to be improved,which is mainly reflected in the small scale of the overall development,the lack of effectiveness of martial arts development in schools and the absence of students’ participation.2.Under the background of "double reduction",the system of martial arts teaching activities needs to be enriched.There are still problems such as insufficient development of martial arts content elements,lack of innovation in teaching methods,single organizational form,and ineffective evaluation system.3.Under the background of "double reduction",Suzhou primary school martial arts activities still have some room for improvement,which is mainly affected by the high maintenance of the original policy foundation,the weak direct correlation between"double reduction" and martial arts,the excessive development demand brought by"double reduction" and the COVID-19.4.Under the background of "double reduction",the development needs of school martial arts are difficult to meet,which makes the supply of teachers,material base,supervision and management resources in some schools unbalanced.5.Under the background of "double reduction",the level of Martial arts cognition of all participants needs to be improved.The lack and deficiency of Martial arts cognition of leaders,teachers,students and other participants have had a certain impact on the development of Martial arts in Suzhou primary schools under the background of"double reduction".According to the above problems,the following optimization paths are proposed:1.We will strengthen macro coordination and optimize the role of government allocation.2.Strengthen the construction of "foundation" of martial arts and enhance the development momentum of martial arts.3.Expand the exploration of martial arts"elements" and promote the spread of martial arts culture.4.Optimize competition activities and improve the leadership of martial arts participation.5.Innovate the system of "teaching,training and evaluation" to promote the quality of teaching.6.Improve the cognition of each subject of martial arts,and strengthen the importance of effectiveness of martial arts.7.Enrich the resources of martial arts activities and improve the afterschool service system.
