| Purpose: The national policy level has guided the direction of the physical and mental health development of adolescents,and adolescent students will have a longer period of time to participate in sports and to make choices about the sports they participate in.This comparative study on the current situation of personality and psychological characteristics of different special athletes provides references for young students to choose sports in school sports.Methods: This study used mainly the measurement method,applying the Cattell 16-item Personality Factor Test Questions as the measurement tool to investigate the psychological personality characteristics of 728 adolescent athletes in Henan Province.Results:(1)Football players had a trend of high scores on F,H,L,O,and Q4 personality factors and low scores on Q1 and Q2 personality factors;wushu players had a trend of high scores on E,I,O,and Q4 personality factors and low scores on F and Q1 personality factors;table tennis players had a trend of high scores on A,B,C,H,N,and Q3 personality factors and low scores on Q1 and Q2 personality factor showed a trend of low scores;sprinters had a trend of high scores on C,I,O,and Q4 personality factors;middle-distance runners had a trend of high scores on H,N,and O personality factors,and a trend of low scores on two personality psychological traits of Q1 and Q2 personality factors.(2)Football players of different genders differed on A,C,F,G,I,M,O,and Q2(p<0.05),with men higher than women on A,C,F,G,and Q,and women higher than men on I and M.There were differences(p<0.05)between the different sexes of wushu athletes on B,G,I,L,M,N,O,Q3,and Q4,with men being higher than women on I,L,M,N,O,and Q4,and women being higher than men on B,G,and Q3.Table tennis players differed by gender on I,M,and Q3(p<0.05),and women were higher than men on I,M,and Q3.There was variability(p<0.05)in F and Q2 among sprinters of different genders,with women higher than men in F and men higher than women in Q2.There was variability(p<0.05)in C personality factors among middle and long distance runners of different genders,with men being higher than women on C.(3)There were differences(p<0.05)between soccer players with different training years on E,F,G,O,Q1,Q3,and Q4,with more than five years of training on F,G,Q1,and Q3 than less than five years of training,and more than five years of training on E,O,and Q4 personality factors than less than five years of training.There were differences(p<0.05)in A,C,H,L,Q2,and Q3 personality factors between wushu athletes with different training years,and in A,C,H,L,and Q3 personality factors with more than five years of training than with less than five years of training,and in Q2 personality factors with less than five years of training than with less than five years of training.Table tennis players with different training years differed in I,L,M,and N personality factors(p<0.05),with more than five years of training in I,M,and N personality factors being higher than less than five years of training,and less than five years of training in L personality factor being higher than less than five years of training.Sprinters with different training years differed in A,L,M and Q4 personality factors(p<0.05),in A and L personality factors more than five years of training than less than five years of training,and in M and Q4 less than five years of training than less than five years of training.There were differences(p<0.05)in several personality factors of H,C,and N among middle distance runners with different training years,and in H,C,and N personality factors with more than five years of training than with less than five years of training.Conclusions:(1)Different special athletes have different psychological personality traits.(2)Different gender athletes have differences in personality psychological characteristics,but the differences are not the same.(3)Athletes with more than five years of training are different from those with less than five years of training in terms of personality psychological characteristics.(4)Young students can choose their programs according to their own personality and psychological characteristics. |
