Research On Operating Activities Cash Flow Management Of Professional Sports Club

Since the new era,my country has placed the development of the sports industry in the position of "national strategy",continuously promoted the in-depth development of the industry,and regarded the development of the sports industry as an important way for China’s economy to move forward steadily.As an independent economic entity,professional sports clubs are a new driving point for the development of the sports industry,and their stable and long-term development has been paid more and more attention,however,at this stage,the development of professional sports clubs in China is still in its infancy,and there are various problems such as difficulty in making profits,low operating efficiency and unstable cash flow.One of the key factors for enterprise development is cash flow,and cash flow from operating activities can be described as an important force for the survival and development of enterprises.Under the background of my country’s supply-side structural reform,enterprises need strong endogenous driving forces to promote their steady development and operation,and the importance of active cash flow is evident.Therefore,the research on the cash flow management of professional sports clubs in our country has a certain significance for the long-term development of professional sports clubs in our country and the supplement of related literature.This paper takes my country’s first listed professional sports club,the Loong Lions Basketball Club as the research object,and takes the risk and benefit equilibrium theory,principal-agent theory and transaction cost theory,using literature method,case study method,ratio analysis method and comparative analysis method,based on the financial data of the Loong Lions Basketball Club in recent years,to analyze the safety,sustainability and value creation of its operating cash flow of its operating activities,and on this basis,combined with the business operation mode of the Loong Lions Basketball Club,the problems existing in the cash flow management of the operating activities of the Loong Lions Basketball Club were found,and put forward relevant optimization suggestions,so that the Loong Lions Basketball Club formed a good development trend.Through the analysis of the operating cash flow of the Loong Lions Basketball Club,this paper finds that the operating cash flow of the Loong Lions Basketball Club needs to be improved in terms of safety,sustainability and value creation.It is believed that there are problems such as imperfect cash flow budget management,imperfect cash flow management system,difficulty in realizing receivables and unreasonable income structure in the cash flow management of the operating activities of the Loong Lions Basketball Club.The reasons for these problems are the awareness of cash flow budget.Weak,the club is in the early stage of development,lacks the management of receivables and the degree of commercialization of the club needs to be deepened.Finally,in view of the cash flow management problems of the Long Lions Basketball Club,and combined with the actual situation of the Long Lions Basketball Club,the following optimization measures are proposed : Establish a reasonable and effective cash flow budget system,improve the relevant systems for cash flow management,build a reasonable receivables management platform,optimize the income structure and reduce costs,so as to promote the sustainable development of the Loong Lions Basketball Club.This treatise can play a role in facilitating research on cash flow management in the operations of professional sports clubs in my country,it helps to reduce the problem of cash flow management in the operating activities of the Loong Lions Basketball Club,and at the same time provides a certain reference for the cash flow management of other professional sports clubs’ operating activities.
