Interdisciplinarity and integration have evolved into an important trend in the development of research.Interdisciplinary research cooperation is conducive to the discovery and resolution of innovation problems,and it is also conducive to the realization and breakthrough of innovative research.The subject of interdisciplinary research cooperation is the researchers.This study uses social exchange theory and takes "research university teachers" as the key research object.On the basis of relevant interdisciplinary research cooperation at home and abroad,a systematic analysis of individual teachers,cooperation gains and losses,The influence of factors at different levels such as university organization on their interdisciplinary research cooperation behavior and cooperation level.The results show that interdisciplinary research cooperation is more common among male engineering teachers who are older,have higher professional titles,have obtained certain academic honors,and are more practical,and that the level of cooperation among engineering teachers with higher professional titles and certain academic honors is relatively high.higher.Individual factors such as gender,age,and the complexity of research issues,and organizational factors such as funding guarantees and barriers to communication channels significantly affect whether teachers conduct interdisciplinary research cooperation.Teachers’ personal characteristics,cooperation qualities and other individual factors,investment costs and other cooperation gains and losses,organizational factors such as organizational support and organizational barriers will have a significant impact on the willingness of interdisciplinary research cooperation of teachers without interdisciplinary cooperation.For teachers with experience in interdisciplinary research cooperation,individual factors such as interdisciplinary understanding,willingness to communicate,and complexity of research issues consume more time and energy,unpredictable results,and need to cross disciplinary barriers and other cooperation gains and losses and funding Organizational factors such as security,communication opportunities,and time and energy barriers significantly affect the level of cooperation.There are significant differences in the influence of individual factors,cooperation gains and losses,and organizational factors on the interdisciplinary research cooperation behavior,cooperation willingness and cooperation level of liberal arts teachers.
