| With the deepening of the aging of the social population in our country,the desire of the elderly to receive education has gradually increased,and the demand for elderly education is very large.The elderly education service is an important part of my country’s aging cause and elderly care service system,and the party and the state attach great importance to it.In 2016,the state promulgated the "Elderly Education Development Plan(2016-2020)",which promoted the rapid development of elderly education services.In 2021,the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Strengthening Aging Work in the New Era" proposed that elderly education should be included in the lifelong education system.In 2022,the state issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of National Aging Causes and Elderly Care Service System",proposing to practice a positive outlook on aging and innovate mechanisms to develop elderly education.After more than 30 years of rapid development,my country’s elderly education has achieved certain achievements,but the contradiction between the elderly education needs of the elderly and the unbalanced and insufficient development of elderly education services has become increasingly prominent.This paper takes Taiyuan City’s elderly education service as an example,based on the new public service theory and public product theory,using literature research method,questionnaire survey method and field interview method,to deeply analyze the current situation of Taiyuan City’s elderly education,and mainly analyze the situation of the elderly population in Taiyuan City,elderly education service policies,government management mechanisms,elderly education service institutions,elderly education service practitioners,etc.It is found that the elderly education services in Taiyuan City have problems such as backward concept of elderly education services,confusion of main responsibilities of elderly education services,unbalanced development of elderly education resources,insufficient participation of social forces in elderly education services,and lack of professional talents in elderly education services.The main reasons are that the government’s positioning is not clear,the participation mechanism of multiple subjects is not perfect,the funding investment is insufficient,and there is a lack of management innovation,etc.,trying to put forward countermeasures to solve the problems existing in Taiyuan’s elderly education services.First,the government clearly defines the management theme,and second,it improves the diversity The main body participation mechanism,three,improve the system and standardization construction,four,enrich the form of elderly education services,five,increase financial investment. |
