The approval of the state council as a national resource in Shanxi Province by the transformation of the comprehensive reform pilot area has more than three years, as the provincial capital of Taiyuan city to the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure, and has made considerable economic and social progress. Since2010, with the transformation and upgrading of economic structure in Taiyuan city speed, urbanization has been accelerated, all kinds of emerging industries, industry emerge in endlessly, to attract more and more of the floating population to Taiyuan city for entrepreneurship development. Like other cities in China, Taiyuan, also entered the period of rapid growth of the floating population scale, the arrival of the floating population, as to optimize the industrial structure and economic and social development of Taiyuan city has abundant labor resources. The floating population has become an important force in Taiyuan city construction and development, its contribution also received the social recognition. However, due to urban and rural "dual" system of checks and services not included in the floating population to the city service system, the floating population can’t enjoy the same as the population of public services.Taiyuan is one of the important cities in the Midwest, a large concentration of migrants, migrants in promoting the equalization of basic public services in terms of a useful exploration. Explore the experiences of these timely conclusion in affirming the achievements identify gaps and deficiencies, help to improve the management of the floating population service, and promote migrants equalization of basic public services to move forward in order to achieve social integration of migrants.In this paper, through the analysis of the monitoring data of floating population dynamic of five years and other relevant data of Shanxi province Taiyuan city since2009,research on the floating population in Taiyuan City, the equalization of basic public services, and points out that the Taiyuan city in the equal access to basic public services of floating population of achievements, existing problems, and learn from the advanced experience of the floating population all other service management of the city, the city of Taiyuan equalization of basic public services for the floating population work has provided the countermeasure and the suggestion.
