In the current international environment,our country and nation urgently need to cultivate high-quality talents to enhance comprehensive national power,and the cultivation of highquality talents cannot be separated from the improvement of the quality of basic education.The new basic education curriculum reform puts forward the fundamental task of "establishing moral education for people".In order to implement the fundamental task and develop students’ core literacy,experts in chemistry have also revised the new version of high school chemistry textbooks on the basis of the standards and requirements of the General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition).For the purpose of better comprehending the embodiment of subject core literacy in the new version textbook,analyzing and comparing the strengths of each version of textbooks,bringing into play the advantages of each version of textbooks,and following the general trend of curriculum reform,this paper integrates its own practice and theoretical literature survey,and takes the optional 3 "Structure and Properties of Substances" module published in 2004 by the People’ s Education Edition and the optional compulsory 2 "Structure and Properties of Substances" module published in 2019 as The research theme.Through literature analysis,comparative study,questionnaire survey,data collection and other means,investigated the application of the old version textbook by front-line teachers and students,and made suggestions on the application of the new version textbook from a new curriculum concept combined with subject core literacy according to the perspective of a new reform,and formed a typical lesson example.It is expected to provide reference and reference for front-line chemistry teachers to optimize teaching contents and instructional design.The following problems of the old version textbook were found through the study of teachers and students,in combination with the new curriculum concept.(1)The content of the textbook is not arranged reasonably,and the chapter on crystal structure and properties is too much,abstract and difficult to understand.Teachers and students generally reflect that the calculation of metal crystal stacking model and crystal cell is too abstract for spatial imagination and mathematical geometric thinking,and it is often difficult to advance this chapter.(2)There are too few experimental sections in the textbook,and most of them are teacherdemonstrated experiments,which rarely allow students to do hands-on practice and are not conducive to cultivating students’ creativity.(3)Due to the pressure of higher education,teachers’ daily teaching inevitably has a pattern of focusing on knowledge but neglecting the cultivation of ability,as well as not paying enough attention to the textbook sections and materials.In this paper,from the comparison of the new and old versions of the textbooks,we can see that there are greater changes in the arrangement of the new version textbook,and more attention is paid to the overall development of students’ subject core literacy in teaching.The main manifestations are.(1)From the view of the chapter arrangement,the chapters of ionic crystals and metallic crystals in old version book which are the most difficult to learn,were combined to one chapter,and moved to the Chapter 3,Section 4 in new version book.In this section,the new content of supramolecules was added,which makes the knowledge difficulty more balanced and more scientific and reasonable.(2)In terms of presentation,the new version textbook is richer in the use of pictures,provides more support for models,and reduces the abstractness of the content;it also adds a science-technology-society section that is more in line with disciplinary literacy and expands the relevant sections in the column setting.(3)From the view of the content selection,the overall knowledge content of the first two chapters of the new version of the textbook has not changed much,but the order of knowledge points has been adjusted,with more emphasis on the cultivation of logical thinking and the spiral of difficulty.The overall knowledge content of the third chapter has changed a lot,combining metal crystals and ionic crystals into one section,and deleting a series of contents that require high spatial imagination and calculation ability,such as the stacking method of metal crystals,cell structure and geometric space utilization.The learning difficulty is greatly reduced,and the application of mathematical elements is weakened,which is more in line with the learning level of most secondary school students.In addition to the introduction of transitional crystals for the first time,the last section also includes the content of supramolecules,which is more in line with the frontiers of modern technology.In general,the new version textbook is more concise and emphasizes the cultivation of logical thinking and the improvement of students’ overall quality.Based on the above investigation and analysis,the following suggestions are made for the daily teaching of the module "Structure and Properties of Substances" by implementing the concept of core literacy in chemistry:(1)strengthen the study of the standards,deepen the understanding of the standards,and reasonably control the depth and breadth of the teaching process;(2)pay attention to the connection between knowledge points,cultivate students’ logical thinking,pay attention to the progression of difficulty,and improve students’ ability to learn science;(3)(3)create real problem situations that fit with the times,emphasize the students’ main position,focus on the stimulation of their learning interests and comprehensive quality,and the establishment of scientific attitudes;(4)take the development of subject core literacy as the core,make good use of columns and materials,establish learning models,reduce the abstraction of learning contents,and give full play to the functions of textbooks. |
