In the process of physical education, teachers often have certain blind spots in the teaching of sports skills,so that students participate in a single project of special chemistry practice too early, resulting in the lack of connection between teaching content and uneven motor skills. Therefore,it is especially important for students to learn basic motor skills. This paper uses literature method, questionnaire survey method,on-site observation method, interview method, mathematical statistics method, test method and other methods to investigate and study the application status of basic motor skills in the seventh-grade physical education and health curriculum in Wanzhou District, and the research draws the following conclusions:(1)In response to the problem of insufficient time for students’ physical activities, the Ministry of Education clearly requires schools to open full physical education classes, but through investigation,it was found that the physical education and health courses in Wanzhou District were more or less occupied.(2)The conditions of sports facilities in most of the seventh-grade schools in Wanzhou District are in short supply, and some necessary facilities are not even set up in schools, and the lack of venue facilities is one of the reasons why the teaching of basic motor skills cannot be carried out normally,at the same time, almost all schools’equipment and facilities tend to be adult, and no school refers to the physical development laws of seventh-grade students in the setting of equipment.(3)The cognition of basic sports skills by seventh-grade physical education teachers in Wanzhou District needs to be further improved. On the whole, the implementation of curriculum standards in the seventh grade of Wanzhou District is good.(4)Most schools in the seventh grade of Wanzhou District have formulated a unified syllabus, and some teachers have written lesson plans according to the syllabus to guide actual teaching, and their guiding ideology and goals are highly related to curriculum standards.(5)The seventh-grade physical education syllabus of Wanzhou District lacks physical fitness content, and the time, content and form of physical fitness practice in the process of physical education teaching cannot meet the requirements of curriculum standards.(6)The teaching content of the seventh grade in Wanzhou District mainly selects sports items and complex combination skills, and the basic sports skills content is unreasonable in terms of time arrangement and proportional allocation, resulting in the lack of basic sports skills in the process of physical education, which is contrary to the idea of curriculum standards.(7)Grade 7 students’ lack of grasp of basic motor skills such as spatial judgment ability and moving center of gravity is greatly related to the lack of such content in teaching.(8)When choosing the teaching content of the seventh-grade physical education and health course in Wanzhou District, most schools mainly focus on refining and exercise, and the content of simple teaching and introduction is not covered or rarely involved.(9)In the process of implementing the teaching content, most teachers teach in strict accordance with their own teaching plans and teaching plans, and cannot make timely adjustments according to the actual situation of students, but a small number of teachers will learn according to students.Adjust your teaching content accordingly.
