In recent years, with the further development of economy and urbanization, much change has taken place in employment structure in our country. At the same time, under the background of rapid development of digital technology, our country attaches great importance to the impact of digital technology and financial industry on our employment structure. The concept of financial inclusion was first proposed by the United Nations in 2005.Subsequently,in the 2016 G20 Summit, digital financial inclusion was first proposed and defined as "all actions to promote financial inclusion through the use of digital financial services".Digital financial inclusion can ease the financing constraints of marginalized groups and regions and reduce transaction costs, thus promoting the optimization of employment structure and having a profound impact on the development of social financial institutions and residents’ employment. Therefore, the impact of digital financial inclusion on employment structure and its influencing mechanism have become one of the hot topics of scholars in recent years. This study combines theoretical analysis with empirical test, and based on previous literature,we first learned about the history of digital inclusion finance and the present employment situation in China, and grasps the current development of both from the whole.Secondly,it analyzes the relevant theories and transmission mechanism of digital inclusion finance affecting employment structure, and puts forward research hypotheses. Then, this paper adopts the inter-provincial panel data from 2011 to 2020,in which Tibet with more missing values is excluded, and uses the fixed effect model to empirically test the relationship between them.In the first,a fixed effects model is used to examine empirically the impact of the total index of digital inclusion finance on employment structure of China. Then, this paper analyzes the heterogeneity from three first-level dimensions of digital universal finance and two perspectives of different regions. Finally, this paper adopts the intermediary effect model, takes enterprise innovation and entrepreneurship as the intermediary variable, and discusses the mechanism of digital inclusive finance to optimize the employment structure. It is concluded that digital inclusive finance can significantly promote the optimization of employment structure in China. From the perspective of different dimensions, the different dimensions of digital inclusive finance have promoting effects on the optimization of employment structure, and the coverage breadth and use depth have more significant promoting effects.By region, digital financial inclusion plays a more significant role in promoting the optimization of employment structure in central and western China than in eastern China.By industry, the development of digital inclusive finance can promote the upgrading of the employment structure of the tertiary industry. In addition to the above direct effects, digital financial inclusion can also optimize the employment structure by increasing the level of innovation and entrepreneurship of enterprises.Based on the above study findings, this paper puts up a number of countermeasures and recommendations, including that China should to actively support the growth of a digital inclusive finance and to combine the development of digital inclusive finance with employment issues, formulate different policies according to different dimensions regions and industies, and apply the right medicine to the problem. We will make great efforts to dredge the path of digital inclusive finance to encourage enterprise innovation and entrepreneurship.Strengthen the regulation of digitalization Financial Inclusion offers a new idea for the application of digital inclusive finance to optimize the employment structure.
