| By studying the characteristics of defensive pick-and-roll coordination of NCAA men’s basketball strong teams,the application effect of different forms of defensive pick-and-roll coordination under the competition situation is clarified.To sum up the Coordination Law of defensive pick-and-roll,improve the theoretical system of defensive pick-and-roll,and provide reference for Coaches’ training and competition.The field performance of defensive pick-and-roll coordination in the 2021-2022 season of NCAA Men’s First League Final Eight was taken as the research object.Using the methods of literature review,expert interview,video observation and mathematical statistics,the form,time,area,position and effect of defensive pick-and-roll coordination are studied and analyzed.The research results indicate that,at the 9th second of the defensive turn,the number of defensive pick-and-roll combinations reached the peak,and the total number of pick-and-roll combinations in the“High left-right area” exceeded that in the“Middle-high area” The“Guard Center Group” is the most easy to use the chasing and defense cooperation when defending the pick-and-roll,and the“Guard power forward group”is the most easy to use the changing and defense cooperation when defending the pick-and-roll,the offense averaged0.788 points per catch-up.Research Conclusion,NCAA men’s basketball strong team is the most widely used,defense effect is good;the application of chasing and defense cooperation is strong,but the defense effect is poor;There is a tendency to be eliminated by bypassing the tie.The critical time for defensive pick-and-roll is between the end of the transition and the beginning of the position.The frequency of pick-and-rolls on the flanks has increased,and the guard and center are still the most important combination in the position of defensive pick-and-roll personnel,however,the comprehensive nature of the power forward as a defensive screen has gradually been paid attention to. |
