A Comparative Study Of Chinese And Foreign No-ball Coverage Cooperation In The 2022 Women’s Basketball World Cup

With the booming development of basketball,the team’s defensive ability is getting stronger and stronger,and it is too difficult to rely on players’ individual ability to get rid of the defense and get the opportunity to catch the ball.The team can use the no-ball coverage cooperation to disrupt the opponent’s rhythm and interfere with the opponent’s defense,thus creating scoring opportunities for their peers and improving the team’s offensive efficiency.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the tactics of no-ball coverage.This paper adopts the literature method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,video observation method and mathematical statistics method to take the 2022 Women’s Basketball World Cup Chinese and foreign ball-less cover cooperation as the research object,and conducts in-depth analysis on the time,area,form,position of participating players and the effect of ball-less cover cooperation of Chinese and foreign women’s basketball teams using ball-less cover,and draws the following conclusions.1.The time characteristics of the Chinese and foreign women’s basketball team are consistent,with ball-less coverage occurring in the first 15 seconds and less after 16 seconds.Chinese and foreign women’s basketball team’s areas with no ball coverage are concentrated in the low and high center,rarely appear in both sides of the free throw line,Chinese women’s basketball team uses no ball coverage in the restricted area more often than the opponent,often in the high left and right two areas with ball coverage.2.Chinese and foreign women’s basketball ball-less coverage personnel position characteristics to the inside for the outside cover mainly,followed by the outside for the outside cover,Chinese women’s basketball inside and outside cover the number of more balanced,due to the slower movement of the inside,the inside for the inside to do cover the number of less.In the form of no ball cover with,Chinese and foreign women’s basketball mainly in front cover and side cover,back cover use is relatively less,Chinese women’s basketball use of back cover is mostly for the inside cover.3.The effect of Chinese and foreign women’s basketball team after using no-ball coverage cooperation is mainly based on catching and transferring the ball and getting indirect benefits.Chinese women’s basketball team has significantly higher number of catching and shooting than the opponent,and can create 53 shots through no-ball coverage,but against strong teams,it is easy to be interfered by the defenders and the quality of coverage is poor.In the defense of no-ball cover fits,squeeze through fits and through fits are the two defensive strategies used most frequently by Chinese and foreign women’s basketball teams.
