Physical education courses should establish the educational concept of health first,pay attention to patriotism education and traditional culture education,and cultivate students’ tenacious struggle and self belief.The ideological and political education in universities endows schools with the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating talents,as well as the significant responsibility and glorious goal of cultivating new talents who are responsible for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This provides a new exploration path for Chinese university physical education teachers to further develop physical education and ideological education,improve professional teaching systems,and strengthen specialized classrooms.Martial arts is not only a traditional sports event of the Chinese nation,but also an important component of physical education courses in universities.Leveraging the educational value of martial arts courses and creating a group of distinctive ethnic traditional physical education courses is one of the important ways to promote the ideological and political construction of university courses and enrich the ideological and political content of university courses.This paper takes "Research on the Path of Ideological and Political Implementation of Wushu Curriculum in Colleges and Universities" as the topic,and uses the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,expert interview,logical analysis and other methods to investigate the ideological and political development of Wushu curriculum in colleges and universities under the background of ideological and political curriculum,and interview relevant experts.Based on questionnaire surveys and interview results,this study analyzes the cognition of teachers and students towards the ideological and political aspects of the curriculum,as well as their understanding of classroom teaching objectives,content,methods,and evaluation mechanisms.Combining the characteristics of martial arts projects,this study summarizes the era value and feasibility of carrying out ideological and political construction in martial arts courses in universities.In response to the current situation of ideological and political implementation in martial arts teaching in universities,this study explores relevant implementation paths from multiple perspectives.(1)It is feasible to integrate ideological and political education into university martial arts classrooms.The unique cultural resources and educational advantages of martial arts,as well as the methods of martial arts training,teaching practice,and activity promotion,have become an invisible thrust for universities to carry out ideological and political education in courses,effectively promoting the construction of ideological and political education in universities.(2)At present,there are problems in the ideological and political education of martial arts courses in universities,such as: teachers’ lack of ideological and political awareness towards the courses;Students’ ideological and political awareness in the curriculum is weak;The goal of ideological and political construction in martial arts courses is not clear;The content of ideological and political elements needs further exploration;Insufficient awareness of innovative teaching methods;The teaching environment needs to be optimized;The ideological and political evaluation mechanism of the curriculum is relatively vague.(3)The implementation path of implementing ideological and political education in martial arts teaching in universities includes: strengthening teachers’ awareness and ability to educate,strengthening students’ understanding of ideological and political education in martial arts courses,and fully participating in ideological and political education in the courses;Emphasizing the classroom teaching process and achieving the teaching goal of educating students;Deeply explore the ideological and political elements in martial arts courses;Expand teaching channels and innovate teaching methods;Further optimize the teaching environment through classroom teacher-student interaction,organizing relevant competitions,social practice,and actively occupying new frontiers of online ideological and political education;Scientifically construct a mechanism for the assessment and evaluation of ideological and political education in courses.
