There is a group of "stay-at-home mothers" among the married and educated unemployed women. With the continuous growth of children at home, many stay-at-home mothers will face the problem of returning to the workplace and re-employment.Because of their long-term full-time status, the problem of reemployment is difficult in the process of reemployment. The psychological stress caused by the long-term backlog of stay-at-home mothers can not return to the workplace smoothly has become a problem that society needs to pay attention. This paper takes stay-at-home mothers in X community in Xianyang as the research object, and on the basis of combing the relevant research literature at home and abroad, investigates the re-employment and psychological stress of stay-at-home mothers in X community through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, and analyzes the reasons for the re-employment pressure of stay-at-home mothers from the perspective of social support theory.Based on the needs of full-time mothers to relieve the pressure of reemployment, targeted practical activities were carried out to reconstruct the social support system of full-time mothers, relieve their psychological pressure of reemployment.According to the evaluation of the intervention process and results,it can be seen that the psychological pressure of stay-at-home mothers after social work intervention has been relieved to some extent with the reconstruction of formal and informal social support systems. At the same time,it is also necessary to help stay-at-home mothers improve their ability to use the social support system and maximize the role of the social support system.Limited by the complexity of the psychological stress of stay-at-home mothers’ re-employment and the author’s own professional level and evaluation ability, the depth and breadth of the research need to be further expanded.
