The emergence of the COVID-19 epidemic forced offline teaching into online teaching.With the continuous advancement of curriculum reform,virtual online education has gradually become the inevitable trend of future education development,and virtual multichannel interaction and virtual cognition have become the research focus of online education.As the theoretical basis of online education development,cognitive load theory can optimize the input and output of teaching information,rationally allocate cognitive resources,and ensure the learning effect,which plays a key role in the popularization of online education.Taking the virtual reality online education system as the main research object,based on the related knowledge of cognitive load theory and the basic principles of virtual reality interactive interface design,the multi-channel interactive design of the system is studied from the perspective of students.(1)Using the method of thinking aloud to carry out user research,four kinds of perceived firstlevel factors(information presentation factors,interactive operation factors,online communication factors,and virtual environment factors)and corresponding second-level influencing factors in the online education system are extracted,and then the judgment matrix is constructed by analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and the weights of each factor are calculated.(2)The mapping relationship between influencing factors(cognitive presentation of information and effective input of information)and cognitive load intensity is explored through experiments based on the results of user research.The cognitive behavior of users is analyzed,and the characteristics of multi-channel information presentation and information input are summarized.(3)Furthermore,combining the previous research results with the existing research results of cognitive load theory,the corresponding design strategies are put forward for each cognitive influencing factor.Finally,taking a design history course as the teaching carrier,the multi-channel interactive design practice of virtual reality online education system is carried out,and the validity and rationality of the research results are verified,which provides guiding significance for the deeper integration practice of online education and virtual reality.
