Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Shaanxi University Badminton Championship

The Shaanxi University Badminton Championships is hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education,organized by the Shaanxi University Student Sports Association and higher education institutions within the province.It is an annual event for university student badminton,providing a platform for students who love badminton to learn from each other,challenge themselves,and realize their dreams;As of 2022,the Shaanxi University Badminton Championships have been held for eighteen times.Looking at the development of previous championships,there are advantages to follow,but there are also shortcomings.Mao Zedong pointed out in his "On Contradictions" that contradictions exist in the development process of all things.Therefore,we should look at the advantages and disadvantages of the previous championships with a dialectical perspective.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,interviews and other research methods to study the current situation of the 16 th,17th and 18 th Shaanxi University Badminton Championships.It finds that there are the following problems in the development of Shaanxi University Badminton Championships: the championship itself has a single way of publicity in the early stage of the event The reward methods for athletes in tournaments are relatively single,the sponsorship sources for tournaments are single,the participation level in tournaments is not high enough,the construction of the referee team is insufficient,and the professional level of referee execution is relatively low.Tournament athletes have low enthusiasm for daily training and conflicts in learning and training at their own level.The coaches participating in the championship have problems of low coaching ability and lack of initiative at their own level.Through research,this article proposes suggestions to address the above issues: establish and improve external communication institutions between schools and the government,expand funding sources,increase investment in athlete training funds and equipment procurement,adopt various channels of publicity,improve reward mechanisms,create event brands,improve student quality,strengthen daily management of athlete training,regularly organize coaches’ professional learning,and improve teaching level Build a dedicated referee team for badminton tournaments to enhance the fairness of the competition.
