With the rapid development of society and the continuous innovation and reform in the field of education, how to better improve students’ learning outcomes has become a focus of attention. As a subject involving visual art creation, art courses are receiving more and more attention.Currently, most strategies for improving focus are focused on enhancing teacher abilities, with little research on the teaching content itself. Moreover, how to return students’ focus to the art work itself remains a major challenge in art classrooms. This article focuses on the impact of colors in art works on students’ attention, integrating art colors into teaching methods, and combining experimental conclusions on how color saturation and color richness affect students’ attention, proposing teaching methods to improve students’ attention.Starting from the fact that color has a certain impact on concentration, this paper first extensively collects and investigates relevant theories.Based on this,it elaborates on the background, framework, technology, tools and methods of experimental design,as well as analyzes the data of this experiment.Furthermore,it explores the impact of color saturation and color richness on concentration, aiming to increase students’ time to maintain concentration in the classroom. This article proposes to apply the research findings on how to enhance students’ attention through color in middle school art classrooms, how to use colors in art works to attract students’ attention, and how to combine them with other teaching methods. It proposes to use colors in art works in experiential teaching to cultivate students’ attention, and to return to the teaching design concept of the role of color itself in works. After investigation, research, and experimental analysis,it has been found that the current teaching format, which is single, neglects the student-centered approach, and mainly focuses on appreciation,is insufficient to maintain students’ concentration. This article uses experiential teaching,a teaching design and implementation that returns to color exploration, and uses video and audio media and hands-on practice to improve the classroom atmosphere that neglects the student-centered approach,And use high saturation and rich color works to enhance students’ focus on learning in the art classroom, making the art classroom more attractive. Finally, teaching reflection is conducted, and research prospects are proposed. It is hoped that this study can provide some help to art teachers from all walks of life,in order to improve students’ learning efficiency.
