In the context of "double reduction",how to make homework "quality and efficiency" has become the primary concern to make homework return to the nature of education.Middle school is a critical stage for students’ physical and mental development,and it is also a key point for implementing the "double reduction" policy.Morality and the rule of law is the core curriculum for shaping students’ values,and improving the effectiveness of homework is also conducive to improving the overall quality of classroom teaching in junior high school morality and the rule of law,thus promoting the development of students’ overall quality.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze and study the effectiveness of homework design in junior high school morality and rule of law classes.In this paper,we use constructivist theory and nearest developmental zone theory as the theoretical basis,and investigate some teachers and students in two middle schools,L Middle School in Y and S Middle School in Z.After the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,there have been changes such as the reduction of the homework volume and the difficulty of the homework becoming reasonable,but the homework design of morality and rule of law still has problems such as the homework type is too traditional,the homework content lacks originality,and the homework evaluation is single.Ultimately,this is because the concept of homework in morality and rule of law classes is still oriented to exam-oriented education;the "double reduction" policy and front-line teaching need to be integrated;teachers and students lack effective communication about homework;and uneven educational resources restrict homework design.Therefore,this paper analyzes the specific problems and causes of the current morality and rule of law class assignments and puts forward corresponding suggestions for optimization.Firstly,deepen the understanding of the policy and promote the implementation of the "double reduction" policy.Second,to enrich the form of homework and enhance the interest of homework.Third,select homework content to highlight the value of homework education.Finally,improve the evaluation of homework to realize the integration of teaching and evaluation.The feasibility of this paper’s homework optimization measures is further demonstrated by the case of "Innovation Never Ends" in the first book of 9th grade.
