| Kindergarten is an important stage in children’s growth and development,and their ability to prepare for school and successfully transition from kindergarten to primary school have an important impact on their personal growth and development.Most of the existing research on school readiness is based on the perspective of adults,ignoring the voice and initiative of children as the main body of school preparation.At the same time,action tests for the relevant research recommendations’ feasibility and practicability are also lacking.Therefore,this study collects and analyzes children’s ideas about all aspects of elementary school from the perspective of children,and conducts school readiness education activities for kindergarten children in the form of action research,so as to improve the school readiness level of children.This study also proposes strategies for school readiness education from the perspective of children.The research methods used in this study mainly include: action research method,mosaic method,interview method,and questionnaire method.First,the author reads the relevant literature and sorts out the theories and strategies conducive to the research of action on school readiness.Secondly,the author used the mosaic method and Parent Symptoms Questionnaire to conduct preliminary research on young children and their parents to understand their own views on attending to primary school and their development level of school preparation.Then,based on the findings,we designed and conducted three rounds of action research.During the action research,through observation and interviews with teachers,the effectiveness and existing problems of the activities are understood,and the objectives and proposals of the action research are adjusted accordingly.In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the action research,we used mosaic methods,Parent Symptoms Questionnaire,and teacher interviews to understand how children’s school readiness levels developed and contrasted them to the results of previous study.Based on the reflection and evaluation of action research,this study summarizes the following strategies for kindergarten preparation education based on children’s perspectives:(1)Pay attention to and use the value of children’s perspective.(2)Improve the level of Children’s perspective through specialized activities.(3)Infiltrate the Children’s perspective in the material environment.(4)Integrate the resources of home,garden and community.(5)Create a comfortable kindergarten psychological environment. |
