Quantitative evaluation of character is an important step to measure the development of individual character,and is also a widely used way of character evaluation at present.Quantitative evaluation of character,as an evaluation method with quick effect,strong operability and "instrumental attributes",is essentially to test the current moral status of the appraise in the form of scores and rankings,so as to achieve the purpose of selecting,revising and shaping the ideological and moral quality of the appraise.In essence,the quantitative evaluation of student morality forms an heteronomous constraint through a "scoring" mode of moral character,so that the competition of moral character interferes with and guides the development of student morality.The evaluation subject and standard of the quantitative evaluation of student morality are single,and the final result and state of the performance of moral behavior are taken as the direct evaluation object.By quantifying the accurate indicators,the evaluation results are rewarded and punished,so as to guide the moral education to achieve the ultimate goal of promoting the development of student morality.Under the influence of scientism and managerialism,moral evaluation method has increasingly become an important step to promote the dominant role of student moral development.Under the practical needs,the quantitative evaluation of student moral character has gradually shifted from "soft task" to "hard index",which is conducive to boosting the moral education reform in schools and cultivating students’ moral education initiative,and can create a moral education atmosphere in a short time.It is conducive to the scientific development of evaluation mode.Although the quantitative evaluation of student morality has its necessity and possibility,due to the complex structure of morality and the "combination" of morality and quantitative evaluation,there are many contradictions,such as the long-term nature of character formation and the stage nature of evaluation,the implicit nature of morality and the explicit nature of quant itative evaluation,and the inconsistency of motivation and effect of morality.As a result,the quantitative evaluation of students’ morality is hampered in the implementation process,which is easy to alienate moral education,thus giving rise to exam-oriented morality,breeding hypocrisy,and falling into the absolute pursuit of quantitative and "more moral" misunderstanding.Due to the limited role of the quantitative evaluation of student morality,in order to better solve the difficulties encountered in the implementation process,it is necessary to clarify the evaluation orientation of the quantitative evaluation of student morality,the evaluation method should serve the ultimate goal of people,the quantitative evaluation should return to the moral education itself,promote the transformation of the evaluation tool attribute to the value attribute,and implement the realization of the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue.At the same time,we should adhere to the guidance of correct ideas and take "moral sense" as an important reference factor for moral evaluation.Mechanical quantitative evaluation is not enough to evaluate the real moral status of students,the real moral is the unity of knowing and doing,is the unity of "in line with responsibility" and "out of responsibility",that is,whether the evaluation subject is a real moral,not only to see whether its behavior is in line with morality,but also to see whether the motivation behind its behavior is from morality.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify the application scope of quantitative evaluation for students’ moral behavior,adhere to the principle of quantitative "right amount" in moral evaluation,give consideration to motivation and effect,strengthen the construction of a new student moral quantitative evaluation system with quality combination,multiple subjects and effective supervision,and promote the moral evaluation to focus on the improvement of human moral level.
