| The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry(IUPAC)launched a global program called Systemic Thinking in Chemistry Education(STICE)in 2017 to advance and support the chemistry education community’s thinking on how to better integrate systems thinking with chemistry education teaching practices.Chemical education with the help of systematic thinking is being carried out all over the world.More systematic thinking is needed at the educational level to broaden students’ horizons and promote the cultivation of students’ core qualities from knowledge to application and consciousness. However,in the field of chemistry education, there are few assessment tools for students’ thinking ability of chemistry system. In this context, the main objective of this study is to develop a tool to measure students’ thinking of chemical systems.Based on this goal, the following four research questions are determined:(1)What theoretical basis is needed for the construction of the thinking dimension of chemical systems?(2)What is the relationship between the chemistry discipline system and the general system?(3)How to link chemical thinking with systematic thinking in the process of dimension construction?(4)How to develop a chemical system thinking assessment tool suitable for high school students?Based on the above goals and problems, the specific work arrangement of this research is as follows: refer to and sort out relevant domestic and foreign literature, understand the concept and connotation of system and system thinking, analyze the characteristics of chemistry subject system in senior high school, find a bridge to establish a connection with the general system, and clarify the connotation characteristics of chemical system thinking.Further, starting from the single system of chemistry, the possibility and significance of interdisciplinarity in system thinking are considered from the two levels of knowledge learning and situation application,so as to prepare students for solving complex situation problems and enable them to deal with and think complex problems systematically, comprehensively and comprehensively. And follow this idea, construct each dimension of chemical system thinking.According to the constructed dimensions, appropriate topics are selected in chemistry textbooks for senior high school students, and a chemical system thinking assessment tool is compiled.Carry out test, and use Rasch model and SPSS model to test the quality of the developed tools, and analyze the results,in order to guide the modification and improvement of the evaluation tools,to ensure the availability of tools. This paper mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)Based on system theory, item response theory and Wilson’s "Construction Center" model theory, this study constructs the theoretical framework and dimension framework of chemical systems thinking.(2)According to the "construction-center" model construction theory, the tool was designed and developed based on the thinking dimension of chemical system constructed by literature review and the selected topic, and the Rasch model and SPSS model were used to test the separation degree, reliability, validity, fitting index and other indicators of the tool, and the results were good.It is proved that the dimensional model of chemical system thinking constructed according to the previous theory is reasonable, and the evaluation tool developed based on this is suitable for high school students.Under the background of "water cycle",it can be used to evaluate the chemical system thinking ability of high school students. |
