Kindergartens should "take play as the basic activity".Playing sand games is a favorite game for middle school children,which can meet the development of children’s cognition,language,body movements,social communication,learning quality and other aspects.The age characteristics and thinking development characteristics of middle class children have decided that the smooth development of sand games need the support of teachers.This study studies the teachers’ support in playing sand games in middle school.It adopts purposeful sampling and selects 8 middle school teachers in K Kindergarten as the research objects.Based on the theory of high vision theory and scaffold theory,it is based on the teaching site of playing sand games in kindergarten.Through observation method combined with interview method and case analysis method,this paper analyzes the current situation of teachers’ support in playing sand games in middle class of K kindergarten from three stages and corresponding dimensions:support before playing sand games,support during playing sand games and evaluation after playing sand games.The research results show that the problems existing in the sand games in the middle class of K kindergarten are as follows: the frequency of class games is less,the imbalance,the insufficient delivery of materials,the disorderly stacking of materials,the long replacement cycle,and the limited space for playing sand games;The game situation creation is insufficient,the support method is single,the intervention time is not accurate;The reasons for inadequate evaluation and neglect of children’s self-evaluation and peer evaluation were analyzed from the perspectives of kindergarten and teachers,and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were put forward for the problems existing in teachers’ support for sand games in K kindergarten.The suggestions include two aspects: one is to strengthen the theoretical study of playing sand games,that is,to improve the understanding of the value of playing sand games,to understand the related play and construction skills of playing sand games;Improve the ability to support playing sand games,that is,ensure the observation time,make clear the observation content,understand the children,judge the time to intervene,choose the appropriate intervention method according to the reality,set up a sand playing special group,and enhance the reflection ability.Second,suggestions for kindergartens:For children to improve the ready playing sand environment,improve the teacher-child ratio,strengthen the effective training of teachers.
