The promulgations of the Physics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 edition)make it clear that the purpose of junior high school physics curriculum is to cultivate the core literacy of junior high school students in physics.Among them,the concept of physics is the basis of the core accomplishment of physics.To cultivate junior high school students’ physics concepts,it is necessary for physics teachers to change the current teaching methods,use unit teaching to lead physics teaching,avoid the fragmentation of teaching,and enable students to sublimate physics knowledge into physics concepts in the systematic learning process.Project learning is a common learning method in junior high school.In project-based learning,students interact with real situations to build a knowledge system and form physical concepts.In this paper,unit teaching and project learning are combined,hoping to better train junior high school students’ physics concept.This paper puts forward a way of cultivating physics concepts from the perspective of students’ learning,and advocates that students should conclude related physics concepts from typical factual experiences.Through the interpretation of different levels and categories of factual experience,deepen and consolidate the understanding of physical concepts;Make concept discrimination and correct students’ wrong views through scientific demonstration;In the interaction with real problems in the process of migration and innovation,develop the ability to solve problems.Based on the ADDIE model and combining with the characteristics of project-based learning,this paper puts forward a project-based unit teaching model for cultivating physical concepts,which includes integration,design,development,implementation and evaluation.Among them,integration is the starting point of unit teaching.Teachers guide teaching by integrating unit physics conceptual framework.The design process includes two important contents,that is,the design of physical concept unit objective and the design of physical concept training framework.The development link is mainly for the project task theme and resource development;The implementation link promotes the cultivation of physics concept by teachers’ classroom teaching and students’ completing project tasks after class.The evaluation link is mainly to evaluate the effect of physics concept teaching.This paper also detailed the application process of the model and proposed three teaching strategies:(1)create real situation to promote knowledge perception;(2)strengthen scientific argumentation and promote conceptual transformation;(3)break through the framework of teaching materials and build knowledge network.In this paper,project-type unit teaching is used in the teaching of Sound Phenomenon in the second grade physics,and the effect of project-type unit teaching on the cultivation of physical concept is discussed.The results of physical concept survey show that the average score of experimental class is higher than that of control class,and there is an obvious difference.After data processing,among the 30 items,the average score of 26 items in the experimental class was higher than that in the control class,among which 15 items were significantly different between the two classes.Therefore,it can be concluded that project-based unit teaching can effectively guide teachers to carry out teaching activities and promote the formation of students’ physical concepts.According to the practice process and research results,this paper also puts forward some teaching suggestions for project-based unit teaching,hoping to provide help for front-line teachers.
