| Under the background of digital transformation of education,using effective new technologies and methods to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education is a necessary way to achieve the requirements of moral education,and virtual reality technology is one of the focal points of current information technology innovation.Virtual reality technology is a highly interactive three-dimensional digital media environment,which enables users to experience the simulated environment intuitively and get multi-sensory feedback such as hearing,touch and vision.The research on the use of virtual reality technology in this field needs to be further developed.This paper uses literature research method,case study method and cross-disciplinary research method to analyze the value,challenges and optimization path of virtual reality technology in higher education.Firstly,this paper defines the two core concepts of virtual reality technology and college ideological and political education;secondly,it introduces the realistic basis for the use of virtual reality technology in college ideological and political education in the context of digital transformation of education and national ideological security challenges,and then outlines the virtual practice theory and mind flow theory as the theoretical basis for arguing that virtual reality technology empowers immersive college ideological and political education.It is found that virtual reality technology is an immersive,interactive and creative digital environment,which can improve the quality and effect of college ideological classroom teaching and enhance the effectiveness of practical and cultural education by constructing digital carriers and scenes.At the same time,due to the technical characteristics of virtual reality technology,such as strong sensory stimulation and immersion,it also brings many challenges,mainly in terms of challenging the guidance ability of ideological and political educators,impacting the dominant position of ideological and political educators,bringing physical and psychological safety risks to teachers and students,interfering with learning contents and invalidating traditional ideological and political education evaluation.Finally,this paper proposes to optimize the use of virtual reality technology in this field by establishing principles to anchor the value objectives of virtual reality technology in ideological and political education,and by improving management,strengthening training and optimizing evaluation. |
