| In the current era of rapid development of information technology and deepening artificial intelligence,ideological and political education needs to keep pace with technological development,constantly innovate teaching methods and means,and improve teaching quality.With the wide application of Internet and information technology in the field of education and the requirements of education reform,students’ needs and expectations for education are also increasing,especially in ideological and political classes,where students’ requirements for knowledge content and teaching methods are getting higher and higher.the wide application of VR technology has brought opportunities for ideological and political education.By creating vivid and realistic scenes,VR technology can help students better feel and understand the importance of morality and social responsibility,and improve the effectiveness and participation of their ideological and political education.In addition,with the continuous improvement of Internet technology and the decreasing cost of VR hardware and software,VR technology is gradually becoming a viable option for ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools.Therefore,applying VR technology to carry out ideological and political education is an important means and way to conform to the development of the times and meet students’ needs.This paper is divided into six parts: the first part introduces the research background,significance,research content and feasibility analysis;the second part defines the core concept of "virtual reality",and reviews the literature on the application of VR technology,VR education,and the current situation of VR inideological and political education;the third and fourth parts present and analyze the cases of VR technology applied to ideological and political education at home and abroad.The third and fourth parts present and analyze the cases of applying VR technology in ideological and political education at home and abroad,including politics,economy,rule of law,morality,life safety and health education,ecological civilization education,and traditional culture and revolutionary tradition education;in the fifth part,after comparing and analyzing the above cases,we summarize the similarities and differences of teaching models of ideological and political education subjects under VR technology,and borrow the ADDIE model to build a teaching design model for ideological and political education in secondary school’s classes under VR technology,which provides teachers with the opportunity to start teaching.The sixth part summarizes the current dilemmas of using VR technology in teaching ideological and political education and puts forward suggestions on how to develop more high-quality VR teaching resources for ideological and political education and how teachers and students can better use VR teaching technology.Finally,the shortcomings of this study are reflected and possible directions for subsequent research are foreseen.In the future,the application of VR technology in the teaching of ideological and political education is promising.It can provide students with a more realistic,comprehensive and three-dimensional learning experience,as well as provide teachers with more teaching tools and resources to continuously promote the development and innovation of education and teaching. |
