| The rising standard of living in modern times has led to a gradual increase in the standard of talents in the society,which in turn has led to higher demands on students.At the same time,the expectations of parents and teachers,the pressure of entrance examinations,etc.,all add to the psychological burden of students to a greater or lesser extent,and too much stress can affect students’ adaptation to their surroundings.This study investigates the current situation and characteristics of academic stress,psychological capital,and school adaptation among middle school students under different demographic and sociological characteristics.It studies the relationship between academic stress,psychological capital,and school adaptation among middle school students,and designs a group counseling program that conforms to the laws of physical and mental development of middle school students to intervene in their psychological capital.In order to improve their mental health level,help them reduce academic pressure,and enhance their school adaptation ability Provide empirical research support to enhance their psychological capital level.This study is divided into Study One and Study Two.Study 1 conducted a survey on the academic stress,psychological capital,and school adaptation status of 600 middle school students using the "Middle School Student Academic Stress Questionnaire","Psychological Capital Questionnaire",and "Middle School Student School Adaptation Questionnaire",further exploring the relationship between the three;On the basis of Study One,Study Two intervened in the psychological capital of middle school students by designing a group counseling program,in order to improve their school adaptability and reduce their academic pressure.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Middle school students’ academic pressure,psychological capital,and school adaptation are all at a moderate level;(2)There are some significant differences in academic stress among middle school students in terms of gender and different family environments,as well as significant differences in grades;(3)There are some significant differences in psychological capital among middle school students in terms of gender,grade,and different family environments;(4)There are significant differences in school adaptation among middle school students in terms of gender,grade,and different family environments;(5)The three variables of academic pressure,psychological capital,and school adaptation of junior high school students are significantly correlated in pairs.Academic pressure of junior high school students can predict their psychological capital and school adaptation,and their psychological capital plays a partial mediating role in the impact of academic pressure on school adaptation;(6)The group psychological counseling intervention with the theme of enhancing the psychological capital of middle school students can effectively improve their psychological capital level,while also helping to enhance their school adaptability and reduce academic pressure. |
