Education is the hope of national rejuvenation, while teachers are that of theadvancement of education. Since junior middle school is situated at the crucial stagethroughout the entire fundamental education, what teachers do in junior middle schoolis considered to be the continuity of the primary school education, and the thresholdof the senior high school education. The well-being, work stress and the status ofpsychological capital of teachers in junior middle school is assumed as the standard tocheck their health in body and mind, which has an influence on the trend and successof the education for all-round development in our country.In this study, The Multiple Happiness Questionnaire (MHQ), Working PressureQuestionnaire of Teachers In Primary and Secondary School and PsychologicalCapital Questionnaire (PCQ) were used. The subjects are the339teachers of juniormiddle school from Ji Ning, Wei Fang, Zi Bo and Qing Dao in Shandong Province.This research is aimed at analyzing the characteristics of well-being, working stressand psychological capital of teachers in junior middle school, together with theirrelationship. Besides, this research has put forward some suggestions to improveteachers’ well-being, to reduce their working stress and raise their psychologicalcapital, which is instrumental to improving the teachers’ physical and psychologicalhealth. What’s more important is to accelerate and further the educational reform.The conclusions are as follows:1. The well-being of teachers in junior middle school is simply above the average.In terms of the subjective well-being, there were significant differences in gender,professional titles and educational level. As to the psychological well-being, there wasgrades difference. When it comes to the well-being index, there were significantdifference in gender, age, and educational level. However, working stress andpsychological capital of teachers in the junior middle school involving in thisresearch haven’t displayed significant differences in.demographic variables.2. There is significant negative correlation between subjective well-being,psychological well-being, the well-being index and working stress. While there ispositive correlation between well-being and psychological capital.3. Psychological capital can moderate the relationship between well-beingindex and working stress.
