Research On Social Work Intervention In Cultural Elderly Care Practice From The Perspective Of Positive Aging

With the development of China’s economy and the deepening of the degree of aging,the traditional way of providing for the elderly based on material security and physical care has been difficult to meet the needs of the elderly at present.The cultural elderly care,which advocates to pay attention to the physical and mental health of the elderly,and advocates to encourage social participation and improve the content of old-age security through health promotion,recreational activities,voluntary services,elderly education and other measures,has attracted widespread attention,and become a positive measure to deal with the aging problem.However,in the actual development process of cultural endowment,due to lack of understanding,imperfect mechanism,lack of professional talents and other reasons,there are problems such as insufficient cultural activity facilities,deviation of supply and demand of community services,and low participation of residents.As a helping profession,social work has unique advantages in participating in cultural elderly care services.It can help communities solve the development dilemma of cultural elderly care and improve the level of cultural elderly care for the elderly.Therefore,this study takes the elderly in community A as the research object,and uses questionnaire,interview and observation methods to collect data.On the one hand,under the guidance of the active aging theory,the cultural endowment is deconstructed into three types: physical and mental health,social participation,and endowment security.At the same time,the current situation and problems of the demand for cultural endowment are analyzed in three dimensions to explore the factors that affect the cultural endowment.On the other hand,integrate the use of group work methods and community work methods,systematically and pertinently intervene in cultural endowment through social work practice,improve the level of cultural endowment of the elderly in community A,and put forward reflection and suggestions through scientific evaluation.After theoretical analysis and practical discussion,this study draws the following conclusions: First,the satisfaction of the needs of cultural endowment is of great significance to the elderly and their families.Second,the theory of active aging provides important guidance for the research of social work involved in cultural endowment.Third,social work can effectively improve the level of cultural support for the elderly.In addition,this study suggestions are put forward from the aspects of expanding services,resource integration,and cooperation in various ways,hoping to raise the attention of the society to cultural old-age care,enlighten the practical application of social work in the future,and help the elderly enrich their cultural life and have a happy old age.
