| As one of the "five education",labor education was officially established as an independent course in primary and secondary schools in 2022,and its status and role have been highly valued by the Party and the state.However,the current labor education in some schools is a mere formality and students’ enthusiasm for labor is not high.It is urgent to supplement the content system of labor curriculum so that students can enjoy and experience the labor process.The learning theme of biology and society and interdisciplinary practice in junior high school biology textbooks is in line with the content of labor education.It is an effective teaching method to cultivate students’ labor literacy,interdisciplinary thinking and exploration ability.It lays a foundation for the cultivation of socially innovative talents and provides references for the development of labor courses while fully implementing the interdisciplinary practice and thematic teaching of biology.Firstly,this study sorted out the domestic and foreign research progress and related concept definition of the interdisciplinary practice of labor education and biology through the literature research method,combined with the training requirements of the interdisciplinary practice of labor education and biology to dig teaching materials,to provide theoretical basis for the implementation of the research.Secondly,through questionnaire and interview,the students and biology teachers in Grade one and grade two of B Middle School in Guangdong Province were investigated to understand the teaching implementation and existing problems of interdisciplinary practice in biology classroom in junior high school,and put forward solutions.Then,based on the results of the current investigation,three teaching cases were designed to cultivate students’ labor literacy,interdisciplinary thinking and ability,and the practical teaching of Vegetable Planting and Vegetative deficiency Culture and Cutting and grafting were carried out.Finally,based on students’ classroom experience,observation records and experience in the practice process,random interviews with students and test papers to evaluate the classroom teaching and students’ learning effect,the following preliminary results are obtained.1.Through the collation of teaching materials,activities of junior high school biology interdisciplinary practice that can better integrate labor education are dug out.Combined with the data and survey results,four key points are proposed in the design of interdisciplinary practice teaching program that integrates the concept of labor education: development,openness,comprehensiveness and authenticity.2.The survey results of classroom experience show that 89.58% of students agree that interdisciplinary practice teaching is important for understanding the knowledge links between different disciplines,95.83% of students agree with the statement that "the labor process of interdisciplinary practice has enhanced my interest in learning biology",and students’ expectation of interdisciplinary practice teaching has also changed from 50% to 91.67%.3.According to the process records of students’ planting activities and the results of random interviews,students experienced the labor process of interdisciplinary practical teaching activities,which enhanced students’ interest in learning biology and inspired students to be good at finding problems,thinking actively and solving problems with the knowledge they have learned;At the same time,the practice process has further strengthened the students’ labor literacy.4.According to the statistical results of the test paper,the activity teaching of interdisciplinary practice has enhanced students’ ability to apply knowledge to a certain extent,with significant differences,which promotes the development of students’ interdisciplinary thinking and ability,but there is no obvious improvement in the mastery of theoretical knowledge. |
