Research On The Phenomenon Of Marriage Delay Of Urban Young Women

Based on the urban unmarried young women as the research object,according to the theory of individualized and bourdieu practice theory as the guide,using the method of qualitative research in 10 cities unmarried young women study,from the city young women’s personal characteristics level,the summary of analysis city young women delay marriage cognitive basis and practical performance,On this basis,the generation logic of marriage delay phenomenon of urban young women is sorted out.This study is helpful to deeply understand the phenomenon of marriage delay,let more women get rid of marriage anxiety,and create a more healthy,positive and equal marriage and love atmosphere.The researchers describe the phenomenon of marriage postponement from two perspectives of cognitive basis and practical expression to grasp the essence of marriage postponement.Urban young women’s marriage standard,value recognition of marriage and self-consciousness of "marriage delay" constitute the cognitive basis of marriage delay.Under the guidance of cognition,the external practice of "marriage delay" of urban young women is "lack of recognition of the value of marriage" in thinking,"prefer to wait rather than settle" in action,and "accept and develop themselves" in influence.The logic of marriage delay is as follows.First of all,urban young women have internalized the negative experiences gained from family,peers,personal emotions and mass media in the process of personal growth,shaping the negative concept of marriage and promoting the phenomenon of marriage delay.Secondly,lack of economic capital leads to low confidence in marriage,high cultural capital leads to high standards of mate selection,and lack of social capital reduces the scope of interpersonal communication.The above capital restrictions are objective reasons for marriage delay.Finally,there is a fierce contradiction between traditional and modern gender roles,marriage and family requirements,which further triggers the phenomenon of marriage delay.Based on the above research conclusions,we believe that,first of all,individual practice in the private domain is the result of subjective and objective interaction.Meanwhile,individual practice will converge to form a group practice,which in turn affects individual behavior.Secondly,the major contradictions in Chinese society in the new era are found in all aspects of society,including marriage and family.Finally,women’s selfawareness is the best guarantee to eliminate the fear of marriage.
