Studies On After 80 City Young Women’s View Of Marriage From Dating Show

With the development of the economic structure and politics of the Chinese culture, the young’ values and standards of marriage are also changing, showing the characteristics of the times. Especially with the increase of unharmonious factors in the ratio between men and women and the influence of the concept of equality, women’s autonomy in dating is continually expanding. Therefore, the author will start from the current television dating shows. By showing the marriage values of female guests of the show If You Are The One, the change of the views on marriage among after 80 city young women is reflected which provides reference for related problem solving.This thesis analyzes the after 80 city young women’s value of marriage with the example of the dating show If You Are The One, and also analyzes current situation of marriages. On the basis of reference to other scientific research, this paper studies after 80 city young women’s views on marriage: the first part is introduction where research background and significance, literature review, the main content and research method of this paper as well as innovation of this paper are introduced; the second part is an overview of related theory. In this part, concepts of after 80 generation, the view of marriage and the dating show If You Are The One are defined. This part also elaborates theoretical basis of social role, social gender,feminism and similar matching theory; the third part is the empirical analysis of relationship status of after 80 city young women. Based on the research of the personal profiles of female guests from the dating show If You Are The One and the interviews of city young women, this part shows the consistency of the marriage views between female guests from the show and other ordinary city young women, and makes a further analysis of city young women’s views of marriage; the fourth part is the analysis of characteristics of after 80 city young women’s views of marriage and a further analysis of its influences; the fifth part makes an analysis of the problems of after 80 city young women’s views of marriage and puts forward some strategies of problem solving; the sixth part is conclusion: there has been a great change in the contemporary young people’s marriage patterns from the traditional ways like being introduced by others or free love to a more diverse ways like blind date through television or internet and cyber love; the standards of choosing a partner are also changing from feeling-focused to benefit-focused; expression of affection and sex values are also turning more and more open; there exists a problem in the city young women’s value on marriage,that is, they over pursuit money, status, appearance and so on; schools, families, media and individuals need to do a more detail and feasible job on the shape and adjustment of after 80 city young women’s healthy values of marriage.
