| Throughout the history of mathematical development,it implies a microcosm of human civilization’s continuous and in-depth exploration.Therefore,the emergence and introduction of a mathematical concept is not unfounded,and it has emerged in practical needs.The history of mathematics is an important part of the development of human culture,and the textbook,as an excellent carrier of inheriting history,has always used the history of mathematics as a theme in the setting of compulsory courses and elective courses.Through the collision of teaching and learning thinking in the classroom,while revealing the practical sources of mathematical knowledge,we attempt to use the specific situational language of mathematical modeling to explain the world,create an atmosphere for exploring and researching specific problems,and guide students to feel the charm of mathematical thinking.Since the 2020 revision of the "Ordinary High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards" proposed to strengthen the integration of history of mathematics into high school mathematics curriculum textbooks,and then gradually promote the reform of mathematics teaching,the number of history of mathematics integrated into new textbooks has increased significantly,constantly emphasizing the importance of history of mathematics in textbooks,and at the same time,it is also boosting the horizontal comparative research between textbooks.Therefore,this article adopts statistical analysis,text analysis,and comparative research methods,with three versions of textbooks as the research object.It attempts to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis through six dimensions: knowledge theme,column distribution,application methods,information carriers,historical period,and country affiliation.The following findings and conclusions are obtained:The three editions of textbooks all pay attention to the arrangement and integration of history of mathematics in different dimensions,but they have their own emphasis on specific contents:(1)Hunan Education Press prefers situational teaching in mathematical modeling.(2)The Jiangsu Education Press preferred the selection of application types in the classification of history of mathematics.(3)Hunan Education Press focuses on the integration of the main body into the history of mathematics in the column distribution.(4)People’s Education Version B emphasizes the application of implicit history of mathematics in the way of application.(5)Hunan Education Press emphasizes the presentation of visual methods in information carriers.(6)PEP B focuses on the diversification of the history of mathematics in the source of historical materials.Based on the above research conclusions,this paper puts forward some reasonable suggestions for the practical application of history of mathematics in high school mathematics teaching,promotes the improvement of high school mathematics teaching quality,and constantly strengthens and improves its own teaching and research ability. |
