A high degree of abstraction and rigorous logic are two remarkable characteristics of mathematics.Studies have shown that students’ logical thinking ability shows an upward trend with age,and the reasoning awareness of primary school students is the basis for the formation of logical reasoning ability in the later stage,so the cultivation of reasoning awareness of primary school students should be paid attention to.However,in reality,students’ mathematical reasoning awareness is often not paid enough attention,which affects students’ development.In order to help primary school mathematics teachers better cultivate students’ awareness of mathematical reasoning,this study uses literature analysis,testing,interview and case analysis to find problems from teaching practice,summarize experience,and propose strategies to cultivate students’ mathematical reasoning awareness.The thesis consists of six parts: the first part is the introduction.It mainly introduces the research background,research status at home and abroad,research significance and research design.The second part is an overview.The core concepts of "third section" and "mathematical reasoning consciousness" are defined,and the theoretical basis of the research is elaborated,including constructivist theory,"recent development area" theory,and Polya’s theory of mathematical reasoning.The third part is the current situation survey.Mainly with the help of test papers and interviews between teachers and students,the current situation of students’ mathematical reasoning awareness cultivation is understood,and further analyzed based on relevant teaching cases.The fourth part is the analysis of existing problems and causes.The survey results show that there are four main problems: firstly,insufficient action to cultivate reasoning awareness;secondly,the content of reasoning awareness cultivation is fragmented;thirdly,the process of cultivating reasoning consciousness lacks integration;fourthly,the evaluation system for cultivating reasoning awareness is not perfect.The main reasons are as follows:firstly,teachers lack training and guidance;secondly,teachers do not study teaching materials deeply enough;thirdly,the implementation of inquiry activities is difficult;fourthly,schools are overly focused on grades.The fifth part is the cultivation strategy.It mainly includes,firstly,change the concept of teaching and improve the initiative of reasoning teaching;secondly,tap teaching material resources and improve the level of reasoning teaching;thirdly,optimize teaching methods and improve the efficiency of reasoning teaching;fourthly,improve the evaluation system and increase the enthusiasm of reasoning teaching.The sixth part is the epilogue.Reflect on the problems of this research such as the lack of solid theoretical foundation and the lack of abundant test objects,and at the same time point out the way forward for future development.In the compulsory education stage,mathematical thinking has two major manifestations,one of which is reasoning awareness or reasoning ability,and the landing of core literacy requires us to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ reasoning awareness.At present,what level of logical thinking are students in the third stage of primary school,especially in reasoning awareness as the core literacy of mathematics in compulsory education,has once again become the focus of educational research,and it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on this issue.
