In a long time, the teachers in high school always focus on the development of their students’logic thinking, while they ignore their non-logic thinking. High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards pays lots of attention to the development of plausible reasoning, enable students to explore、discover and speculate, then to be creative. Since analogical reasoning is an important part of plausible reasoning, so its evolution level will be a determinant of the development of the latter and then their ability to be creative.After studying some related documents, this article make a definition of reasoning、 analogy and analogical reasoning and the five aspects of analogical reasoning(concept of analogy, operation relations of analogy, L-dimensional of analogy, thinking and methods of analogy, same structure of analogy). Then make a detail statement of the theory in the early stage(discrepancy theory、information processing theory and composition theory) and classical theory(structure mapping theory, practical analogy migration theory).Then,investigation and analysis of the status of high school mathematics analogical reasoning ability. By interview and discussion with144high school students and15math teachers, the results are as follows:(1) The ability of analogical reasoning of the students are comparatively low, but their concept analogical reasoning is better than other aspects, and their thinking and methods analogical reasoning is the lowest.(2) The ability of the students vary from their genders、places、schools、grades and levels, this is a proof that this ability is influenced by many factors, and their ability developing is uneven.(3) The students’math scores will impact their analogical reasoning developing.(4) Teachers play an important role in students’analogical reasoning developing.(5) The evaluation system will also exert an influence on the students’analogical reasoning developing.(6) The resources in this aspect will directly influence the students’analogical reasoning developing.Finally, on the basis of analysis of the survey, combined with the status of high school mathematics analogical reasoning ability, in order to improve their ability in this part, this article try to explore the ability developing from its categories and its influencing factors(teachers、students、evaluation system and resources). And make a brief statement of the related contents in all experimental textbooks and give some advices for math teachers, and help teachers to research further、to make full use of the resources and to improve their students’ ability of analogical reasoning.
