The Miao ethnic water dance is a unique traditional sports event of the Miao ethnic group in Guizhou,with a long history.In 2005,the Miao ethnic water dance was listed as a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage in Guizhou Province.However,with the rapid advancement of modernization,the Miao ethnic water dance culture is facing many difficulties in the process of inheritance and development.Based on this,this article takes the school education inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage Miao water drum dance in Guizhou Province as the research object,and uses research methods such as literature review,interview,and questionnaire survey to study the current status of the school education inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage Miao water drum dance.On the basis of in-depth analysis of the school education inheritance status of the Miao water drum dance,this article analyzes the constraints on the development of the Miao water drum dance in schools,And propose corresponding strategies for school education inheritance.This article aims to promote the inheritance and development of Miao water dance in school education,and provide beneficial reference and reference for other ethnic minority traditional sports projects to enter the campus.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.The Miao ethnic water dance is a sacrificial activity that worships ancestors and prays for favorable weather conditions.In the process of their activities,girls are in the inner circle,while boys are in the outer circle.Their timbre is deep and loud,full,plump,and powerful,presenting a slightly tipsy state during the dance of the Miao water dance.It is a vivid manifestation of China’s folk sports and sacrificial culture,with cultural connotations of maintaining village unity and stability,as well as reflecting the self-reliance,positive and optimistic spirit of the Miao people.It plays a role in fitness,entertainment,education,and other functional values.2.The main forms of water dance for the Miao ethnic group in Jianhe County include physical education classes,breaks,school sports meetings,and student clubs;The teaching plan,organizational form,and teaching methods of Miao ethnic water dance are relatively scientific and reasonable,which meet the basic requirements of the curriculum.However,the teaching objectives and objectives are not clear,and theoretical teaching is lacking;The school education inheritance methods of Miao water dance include: bringing textbooks into the classroom,developing and applying water dance courses,and conducting Miao water dance cultural activities on campus platforms,but not inviting inheritors to teach on campus,and the popularization scope of Miao water dance on campus is relatively small.4.Physical education teachers generally master the technical movements of Miao water dance,and both teachers and students support the development of Miao water dance.However,students resist the subsequent learning of Miao water dance,and their motivation to participate in Miao water dance is not due to personal interests and hobbies;The educational background,teaching experience,and professional titles of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in Jianhe County are reasonably distributed,and the venues and equipment can basically meet the teaching needs.However,there is relatively little dedicated funding and insufficient training for teachers.5.The limiting factors for the inheritance of Miao ethnic water dance in school education include: insufficient campus popularization of water dance and the development of school-based textbooks;Lack of special funds and insufficient investment in inheritance funds;Insufficient professional training for teachers;The desire to continue learning Water Inspiration is low,and the motivation for learning hobbies is insufficient.6.The school education inheritance strategies for Miao ethnic water dance include: expanding the popularization scope of water dance in schools,and increasing the development of school-based teaching materials for water dance;Appropriately increase the expenditure of water incentive funds and absorb social capital investment through multiple channels;Strengthen the learning and training of teaching staff,and improve the professional training system for teachers;Enhance students’ desire to learn and stimulate their interest.
