| To civilize their spirit,we must first barbarize their physique.Strengthening the physical health of young people is an important part of building a strong sports country and a healthy China.Youth are not only the hope of parents,but also the future and hope for the development of the Party and the country.In recent years,although the physical and health problems of teenagers have improved,due to academic pressure and the impact of the epidemic in the past two years,many teenagers still face severe problems such as myopia and obesity.Family sports,as one of the channels for middle school students to exercise,have great significance in enhancing their physical fitness and health.Therefore,this article takes the impact of family sports on middle school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities as the research object.By studying the influence of parents’ sports concepts,sports actions,and family sports physical resources on middle school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities,we identify the factors that have a significant impact on middle school students’ extracurricular sports activities,and provide targeted suggestions for promoting middle school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities and improving their physical and health levels,To provide theoretical support for promoting the physical fitness and health of junior high school students at the family level.This article mainly uses methods such as questionnaire survey to survey some middle school students and their parents in the urban area of Guiyang City using a mature scale.After testing,the reliability and validity of the questionnaire for parents and students meet the requirements.The questionnaire was distributed in the form of mail and paper.The collected questionnaires were numbered,screened,and sorted out with excel software.The data were analyzed using SPSS26.0.In descriptive statistics,the demography characteristics of parents and students,as well as the dimensions of family sports and students’ extracurricular sports activities were mainly analyzed,and the relationship between family sports and junior high school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities was explored using relevant analysis,And verify with regression analysis.Result:(1)The overall performance of parents’ sports concepts(4.34±0.681)and sports actions(3.98±0.752)among middle school students in the urban area of Guiyang City is good,but the interaction between parents’ sports(3.60±0.924)needs to be improved.The physical resources of family sports for middle school students in the urban area of Guiyang City(2.67±0.085)are not abundant,especially the external physical resources of family sports(2.57±1.088).(2)There are significant differences in parents’ sports concepts,sports actions,and family sports physical resources in their education level,profession,and income.The better the education level,profession,and monthly income of parents,the greater the impact on family sports.(3)The subjective and objective performance of middle school students in the urban area of Guiyang City is good,and there are significant differences in gender and grade.Most students will choose moderate intensity or above,relatively long duration exercise,and exercise more frequently.The overall subjective and objective performance of boys is better than that of girls,and their exercise intensity,frequency,time,and amount are better than those of girls.The behavioral attitude and sense of control in the first grade of junior high school are greater than those in the third grade,while the goal attitude in the first and second grades is greater than that in the third grade.In terms of exercise frequency,the second and third grades of junior high school are both higher than the first grade.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between parents’ sports concepts and their subjective performance in extracurricular sports activities(r=0.129,p<0.01),and parents’ sports aesthetics have the greatest impact on their subjective performance,followed by parents’ sports cognition and awareness.Parents’ attitude towards sports largely affects the behavioral habits of middle school students.Parents’ sports awareness(r=0.056,p<0.05)and sports aesthetics(r=0.076,p<0.01)are significantly positively correlated with exercise time.(5)There is a significant positive correlation(r=0.150,p<0.01)between parental sports actions and the subjective performance of extracurricular sports activities among junior high school students,with parental sports support having the greatest impact on subjective performance.There is a significant positive correlation between parental physical interaction and objective performance,a significant positive correlation between parental physical support and exercise time(r=0.051,p<0.05),and a significant positive correlation between parental physical education and exercise frequency(r=0.055,p<0.05).Parent sports interaction has the greatest impact on the exercise time and frequency of extracurricular sports activities.(6)There is a significant positive correlation between family physical resources and the subjective performance of extracurricular sports activities among junior high school students(r=0.128,p<0.01).Physical resources within a family have the greatest impact on behavioral habits,while external physical resources have the greatest impact on subjective standards.The internal physical resources of family sports are significantly positively correlated with the frequency(r=0.073,p<0.01),time(r=0.088,p<0.01),and amount of exercise(r=0.069,p<0.01)of extracurricular physical activities among junior high school students.The external physical resources are significantly positively correlated with exercise time(r=0.082,p<0.01),and amount of exercise(r=0.054,p<0.05).The external physical resources of family sports have the greatest impact on exercise time,followed by the amount of exercise.Conclusion:(1)In the dimension of parents’ sports concepts,parents’ sports aesthetics,sports awareness,sports cognition,and sports attitude are important influencing factors for students to participate in extracurricular sports activities.(2)In the dimension of parental sports action,parental sports support and sports interaction are important influencing factors for students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities.(3)In the dimension of physical resources in family sports,internal resources in family sports are the key factor affecting behavior habits and exercise time,while external physical resources in family sports have a significant impact on subjective standards and exercise time.(4)Parents’ correct and scientific sports concepts have a positive impact on shaping their children’s sports views and awareness,and promoting their extracurricular sports activities and exercise.In extracurricular sports activities,the high abundance of family physical resources,good sports aesthetics of parents,sports support for children,and sports interaction are positive factors that promote children’s participation in extracurricular sports activities.The more support and interaction from parents,the longer and more frequently they exercise.Over time,the child’s physical fitness and health will be correspondingly improved,and the habit of participating in extracurricular sports activities will gradually form. |
