| A strong country must strengthen education.With the rapid development of the times,as a major educational country,China has kept up with the times in its requirements for education and constantly proposed new educational concepts to adapt to the development of the times.The emergence of the new curriculum standards for compulsory education in 2022 means that China has put forward new educational requirements for the compulsory education stage,as well as new teaching requirements for educators.The new curriculum standards for compulsory education emphasize student-centered education,and propose educational concepts such as developing students’ "core literacy",emphasizing the ideological and educational nature of subjects,paying attention to students’ comprehensive development and personality cultivation,and promoting development through evaluation,fully reflecting China’s current goal of cultivating people.A strong teacher is a strong teacher.As the main body of educators,school teachers play the most direct and important role in the development of students.The urgent need for student development and the continuous updating of knowledge development urge teachers to fully play their roles as learners and researchers,continuously improve their professional abilities and qualities,and constantly update educational concepts and teaching models to meet the new requirements of education in the times.Teachers’ teaching is directly based on the new curriculum standards.Therefore,under the guidance of the new curriculum standards,teachers should re-examine the educational standards and teaching models,and think about how to implement the teaching concept of "student-centered" in the classroom,truly exerting the educational value of the subject.In summary,this article will be based on the teaching mode,conduct systematic research and practical application of UbD teaching theory(Understanding by Design),explore the applicability and feasibility of applying UbD theory to the "Styling Performance" unit of middle school art in the context of education,and explore whether this teaching mode can meet the people-oriented educational needs.The article will adopt literature research,questionnaire survey,comparative research,interview,and case analysis methods for research.This article is divided into six parts: The first part is to review and collect relevant books and journal literature,organize and clarify the basic concepts and theoretical basis of UbD theory.The second part,studying the education documents of the compulsory education stage,will explore the applicability and research significance of UbD theory applied in middle school art teaching from various aspects of the new curriculum standard education concept.In the third part,a field survey was conducted on a local junior high school.Through student questionnaires and teacher interviews,the relevant problems in the current stage of "form expression" teaching were understood,providing a practical basis for the teaching application research of this article.The fourth part,based on the UbD theory,analyzes the teaching design of the "Form Expression" unit,mainly including the design basis,design ideas,and teaching process,and explores the theoretical application of this teaching mode in middle school art teaching.The fifth part analyzes whether the UbD teaching model can fully implement educational concepts in the classroom through teaching practice,and further explores the feasibility of this teaching model in the middle school art "plastic expression" classroom.The sixth part elaborates on the reflection and prospects of the application of UbD theory in the teaching of "plastic expression" in middle school art,and summarizes the innovation and limitations of this study.Through the in-depth study of UBD theory,it is considered that the theory fully embodies the“Student-oriented” teaching requirements,and also provides a new teaching ideas for teachers,to promote the achievement of Teachers’ teaching objectives and the implementation of core literacy.Therefore,the application of UBD theory in junior high school art“Modeling and performance” unit has a certain progressive significance. |
