| Along with the new curriculum reform,China’s basic education curriculum and teaching reform has entered a new stage. To improve the quality of basic education in the future,we must pay attention to the research of key competencies, and teaching design that points to key competencies is an importmant way to develop key competencies.Backward design establishes alignment between objectives, instruction and assessment.Backward design can effectively help students achieve deep learning, which is significant for developing key competencies. The paper is based on a survey of high school mathematics teachers in R,Shandong Province.Through questionnaires and interviews,we found that the following problems exist in their teaching design: the consistency between objectives, teaching and evaluation is poor and the key competencies are not really implemented. After that, the paper analyzes the theoretical and practical research on key competencies and backward design through literature research method, and proposes a "backward design model that points to key competencies".Solid geometry is highly intuitive, abstract and logical, and is an important element in the development of key competencies. The development of key competencies is inseparable from the accumulation of culture.Zugeng’s Principle contains rich mathematical culture, which is conducive to the development of key competencies. The paper explores the backward design of the unit(lesson)on key competencies based on the above model, taking "Solid Geometry" and "Zugeng’s Principle and Volume of Geometry" as examples.Backward design that points to key competencies is a reorganization and improvement of traditional teaching design, which can develop students’ key competencies and promote teachers’ professional development to a certain extent.Based on the study, the paper also ended up with some useful suggestions to inform the subsequent studies. |
