Technical And Tactical Analysis Of The Top Eight Individual Female Foil Players In The Tokyo Olympic Games

In view of the fact that Chinese athletes failed to enter the top eight in the individual women’s foil competition at the Tokyo Olympic Games,based on the competition of the top eight individual that in dealing with major competitions in the future,Chinese female foil players should first improve their technical and tactical skills,and enhance their specific abilities and skills.Only with strong comprehensive abilities can they go further in international competitions.In terms of offensive technology,recognize and master the trend of increasing the proportion of offensive technology,improve indepth research on the gain and loss sub areas and field areas of offensive technology,and at the technical level,study offensive technology,defensive counterattack technology,and counterattack technology,refine basic techniques,and respond to events.In terms of tactics,it is necessary to cultivate and use true and false conversion tactics,improve their own tactical level,and respond to competitive competitions.Using the methods of literature review,video analysis,expert interviews,and mathematical statistics,this article takes the top eight individual female foil players of the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games as the research object,and conducts statistical and mathematical analysis of the skills and tactics of the top eight individual foil players.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The overall number of engagements between female foil players in each competition is about 40.As the competition deepens,the number of engagements continues to increase,with 59 engagements in the final.From the data analysis,it can be seen that the number of engagements between high-level athletes in key matches is increasing as the competition progresses,reflecting the current need for high-level female foil players not only to have professional hand skills,but also to compete for specific abilities,At the same time,the fencing level gap between athletes is gradually narrowing,and the difficulty of winning is gradually increasing.(2)The total score of the top eight individual female foil players in the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games is 432 points,of which the offensive score is 246 points,accounting for 56.94%.High level female foil players maintain strong offensive ability and use direct attack as the main offensive means in the use of techniques and tactics.In terms of combined offense techniques,the scoring rate of combined offense is relatively low,and a cautious attitude should be maintained in its use.(3)Female foil players have a high success rate in defense and counterattack,and the scoring rate of the fourth defense is high.The total score of the fourth part defense and counterattack is 52 points.This defensive technique needs to be further strengthened and improved.(4)Female foil players use direct attack with the highest frequency and scoring efficiency.Squatting and preemptive attack techniques are relatively difficult,so they are used with caution and have a low success rate.(5)In terms of the winning and losing points of female foil athletes’ torso,the scoring areas of female individual foil events are mainly concentrated in the fourth part,while the losing points areas are mainly concentrated in the third and fourth areas.The rules of offensive techniques and defensive counterattack techniques in the winning and losing points position basically converge,while the main losing points area of counterattack techniques is in the second position.In terms of gain and loss distribution areas,the most concentrated areas of gain and loss distribution areas are the midfield and the second area of No.2,while the second area of No.1on the defensive end is also one of the best scoring areas.(6)Female foil players have the highest success rate in using false attack to true attack tactics,while the success rate of attack tactics is relatively low.Based on the above conclusion,I personally believe that(1)excellent female foil players nowadays exhibit more anxiety in attack and defense,and it is also a competition of hand skills.Athletes need to have strong hand combat abilities in order to gain an advantage in future competitions.(2)Attack and defense are still the main scoring methods in the current women’s foil sport,and they occupy a dominant position.The probability of winning by relying on cleverness is decreasing In the future,Chinese female foil athletes will still focus on being proactive,improving their ability to score actively,and strengthening and consolidating the training of basic skills and techniques,leading by competitions and accumulating more competition experience Enhance the specialized physical fitness of Chinese female foil athletes,especially their ability to move and transform their feet,fully utilize the advantages of the field,reduce the number of counterattacks in competitions,and reduce unnecessary points loss.
